Chapter 2 by StabilizerEmerald StabilizerEmerald

All they knew was that they must survive.

[P] Adva, a female aasimar

Adva blinks and awakens in the dappled sun of the Lost Woods. She is a pale girl with rich, black hair and deep blue eyes. She has an ample, hourglass figure; clearly used to the easy life.

She sits up rubbing at her shoulders and neck. As she eases the ache in her muscles with this massage, she realizes she’s fully nude and without any equipment in the middle of this clearing. The soft green moss tickles her as she shifts her weight to stand. Her nipples graze the moss and a shiver runs down her spine.

[GM: +1 stimulation]

Rubbing her eyes, she takes stock of her surroundings. The clearing is an almost perfectly round break in the dense woods around her. The sunlight, warm and comforting in the clearing barely penetrates the trees.

[GM: Roll will to examine your surroundings.]

Adva takes stock of her surroundings, but gets lost in the beauty of the forest. She looks up at the sky and feels a call to go there… She half remembers lounging among soft clouds. And she half remembers falling.

[GM: Roll knowledge to clarify the memory.]

Yes… falling! She remembers being cast out to better understand the mortal world. She remembers her wings being taken as she became mortal. Adva touches her shoulders gently; there’s nothing there. Nor is there any evidence of anything being there. She feels a vestige of her magic in her core, but knows how much her power has been reduced. But at least she remembers her task: to experience the mortal world with all its perils. She looks around her again, and picks a direction to begin her walk.

As Adva walks into the woods to find civilization, what does she find?
