[Hey What Up 8D!!!]
[Nothing much U]
Seeing the person online, Ben wondered just who the heck they might have been, along with what this version of his self's relationship with the person was. The last thing Ben needs right now is some random guy trying to hit on him or, even worse, an attractive woman who just so happens to befriend him since Ben already has more than enough women to deal with in his life.
But for now Ben was having the time of his life talking to someone that seemed to know many things about himself, with some of them being things that even Ben didn't realize he had, like he never would have guessed he was into dominant and interesting women, but given how he remembered all the women in his life, both before and after getting hit by the alien gun.
Looking through the chat log, Ben sees that whoever this person was, they seemed to be this Ben's best friend, as without even looking that far, the two were already talking about the third grade and how it affected Ben. "What is this guy, my freaking therapist or something?"
For now, however, Ben, not wanting to make the other person suspicious, began playing the game like he would usually do, which was weirdly the same as Ben normally would, given what Ben seemed to see from this Ben's life.
The two kept playing the game and made some decent progress as Ben finally became his own Samurai that looked just like him, which took a lot of work getting all the parts and finding everything along with maxing out his stats enough that Ben got fit and buff instead of being Sumo Slammer big, but could thanks to a skill called Cannon Bolt that let him turn into a ball and spin attack enemies.
For some reason Ben really liked doing this even if it wasn't that useful because he just found it to be the most fun along with the Asura Form that gave him four arms and two samurai blades, and to a lesser degree the Drago Blaze Burst attack that'd either form a twirl if Ben used the movement keys or a straight attack if he did nothing else as it rose up into the sky before plummeting back down onto his enemy.
Just after the two finish the final boss of the current level they were playing, the person Ben was playing with suddenly told them that they'd meet in about a week, as that's when his family should be flying in. Of course Ben didn't really understand what was going on, but he was a bit happy to see whoever this person might have been, as he was honestly very curious to see who they might have been and try to figure out their and this Ben's relationship.
And seeing nothing else to do on the computer, Ben logs off the game and leaves his house as no one tries to stop him and begins walking around the world with everyone around oddly staring at Ben, almost like he was some sort of magical beast or something, and given how Ben looked through his pictures on both his phone and throughout the house beforehand, it seemed like this Ben was very shy.
But Ben normally doesn't really care how others see him and just figures this was how they'd react if the Ben they knew of stopped wearing a hoodie or at least stopped wearing it with the hood part above his head, as Ben looks down, and instead has Ben wearing his hoodie like it were a normal jacket as he walks around the place and steps into Circa Gothica.
Which surprisingly still had the same lady there who seemed to still remember Ben and their little talk and everything as she started to tease Ben about how he stared at her last time. "If you want to see my fine ass again like that, it'd cost you this time." She said while seductively whispering into Ben's ear, as from the way she looked at him and chuckled, Ben could kind of guess it was more like an older sister messing with their younger brother than any attempt at flirting.
Walking around the library section of the place, Ben soon meets up with Hope and her asshole friends, but unlike before, they seem a whole lot more chill with him being there, possibly because this was a different version of Ben, or given how they acted, it was because Hope probably told them off and made them calm down their teasing or bullying towards Ben.
Why they would obey Hope Ben doesn't know and has no real intentions on ever really finding out, as it doesn't matter that much to him, as it'd mean nothing to him if he were to ever find out how Hope threatened her friends since they still didn't like Ben given the look in their eyes, and that was fair since Ben didn't like them either, as they were all massive jerks that he'd be fine never really seeing again.
"Hey Charmcaster, what's up?" Ben asked as innocently as he could with a great big smile on his face to seem as innocent as he could in order to not get hit with random things from Charmcaster's little pack of ravenous wolves and also because last time he knew he saw her at least made it seem like she was having lots of problems with her life, and Ben didn't really want to make it even worse like he did with Julie and her mother.
Charmcaster just looks up and sees Ben with a face full of rage, anger, and honestly kind of dead up until the point she realizes it was Ben, and when she fully realizes it was him, she looks a whole lot brighter and actually begins to smile, causing the other girls to blush a bit, which Ben honestly thought was kind of funny but would never dare to say or show that on his face in fear of what the girls might do to him.
Sitting down at a nearby table, Ben starts talking with the girls, or rather, he talks with Hope as best he could, while the other girls only respond whenever Ben hears something shuffle underneath the table or when they are answering their friend and not Ben. Through some Jedi mind trick sort of mental gymnastics, they seem to be doing whatever he asks a question.
Ben honestly expected something like this and was honestly glad to see it happen, as it meant these girls didn't change along with Circa Gothica, but that meant, of course, the people inside his house had changed, or at least the people that he saw since he didn't see Helen at all yet, but Ben wasn't that worried since no matter what Lucy changed, there wasn't any likelihood of Helen changing to be an S instead of an M.
Talking with the girls, however, revealed that Circa Gothica was about to have itself a little goth part in light of the Hex Girls; the band that Charmcaster threatened to hurt or even destroy just a few days ago was apparently getting their first paying job as someone really liked their song and wanted to play it and have them star in a little movie of theirs.
"What sucks, however, is that they won't tell anyone what type of music they're making or what it's even for. But still, it's cool for them, I guess..." Charmcaster then mumbles something that Ben is fairly certain is some form of curse or even a Hex if those existed, as the Hex Girls themselves soon appeared with the blond girl face-planting the ground, the Black one falling over the handrails of the stairs somewhere, and the redheaded one's outfit seeming to just fall apart as if by magic.
This led to Ben making a promise to never mess with Charmcaster, as while Ben doesn't know if that was actually magic or just the girls really, really sucking at walking and picking outfits. Either way, however, Ben wasn't really looking forward to anything that had to deal with pissing someone off who might know actual magic.
While everyone else watches the Hex Girls fumble and laugh at them as Ember, their manager, tries to salvage the situation, Ben immediately looks away as he feels the chill of **** around him when he was just watching them fail, and he'd rather not risk dying just to find out what he was feeling and what was causing it, even though he had a strong feeling it was the girl he was sitting next to that was known to carry around something sharp and pointy.
Not wanting any more potential **** threats or anything that could get him hurt, Ben leaves Circa Gothica, causing Ember to look at him and smirk as she thinks to herself before turning back to the girls and cursing at both the Hex girls and everyone watching as the madam who runs the place just smiles as she watches it all go down, wondering where she could get some popcorn without having to buy it herself.
Walking through the streets, Ben is suddenly and without warning kidnapped by Attea inside Ben's own old car that's probably now Attea's, as she just continues driving down the streets without answering anything, and even stranger was the fact that Helen was inside the car with Ben as she just waved as politely as she could before facing to turn Attea, who just kept on driving.
Where we going?
