[NPC: Eron]

Human, late teens/early twenties.

Eron has spent his whole life so far in the underground complex, guided at all times by the authority of the Great Machine. He is happy in his role as a technician and has not had any reason to question the Great Machine's teachings. He has never been to the surface, and all of his knowledge of the world comes from the extensive and detailed education mandated by the Great Machine. Recent events have turned his entire universe upside-down and he feels as if he may as well be living through the end times.

Thanks to his role in the community, Eron has a detailed knowledge of the Great Machine's systems, and although he has never faced a crisis like this before, he knows how to put that technology to use, assuming he can keep his cool. He has a very good mental map of the complex and its various pathways. He has no real experience of fighting or dealing with danger.

Quite tall, Eron has a skinny build and generally plain, unremarkable features. His dark brown hair is closely cropped and his general appearance is neat and well-groomed. Never particular assertive at the best of times, his current uncertainty makes him all the more shy and hesitant.
