[NPC: Athisz]

Athisz is a naga: a mysterious aberrant creature with dark magical powers. Her body resembles that of a giant snake, over twelve feet long, with no arms or legs. Her face is uncannily human-like, wreathed with a head of stringy black hair. She adopts an illusionary form that hides her true shape within a flowing red robe.

Having learned of a place called the Valley of Mists, the fey keepers of which are in conflict, Athisz has formed a plan to invade the Valley and enthrall the Erlking, its ruler. The Valley has long been cut off from both the material and fey worlds, and Athisz requires an ancient interplanar portal hidden near Hollowstone to reach her destination.

Although physically strong and quick, the main threat posed by Athisz comes from her sorcerous abilities and her charming gaze, letting her turn potential enemies into all-too-willing allies. She has already used this power to compel the villagers of Hollowstone to worship her as a prophet.
