[Meta] Quick update before going forward

Hey guys.

I've been toying with the idea of making an update like this, but I eventually decided that it's for the best that I do it, even if only to put my heart at ease. I hope it's not presumptuous to do something like this, seeing as the extent I'll go with this story is still unknown even to me, but I thought it's better to do this than to leave you guys waiting for a story that I'll never end up writing.

My aim for this post/chapter is to pull the curtain back a bit and try and convey what I am likely to do with this branch, as well as what the direction I believe I will go with it. I suppose the first point to cover is that this Yellow Fever branch is very much a "make-it-up" sort of story for me; besides maybe one or two end goals that I want to end up at, I very rarely have something concrete planned out when I start writing a chapter (though I try my best to stay consistent with everything I've written earlier), so everything else in this post that I mention may not be set in stone; what I end up writing, is what I feel like writing at the time. That being said, there have been various habits I notice that I've fallen into since I started writing on this site, so I at least have some precedence.

The part you'll probably want to read is about the sex elements of the story, and I'll say bluntly that nothing drastic is probably going to change on this front compared to what's happened so far. If you've read all my chapters in this branch up until this point, you probably know that I tend to put a lot of emphasis on the characters themselves and their feelings, and that's because, despite this being an erotica site, writing sex isn't something I'm always in the mood to do. Moreover, I tend to find the reasonings, circumstances, and consequences around the sex more interesting than the acts themselves; as an example, it was more interesting for me to write about Emiru choosing to have sex with the MC out of a desire to help him than it was writing the sex act itself. As a result, when I do end up writing sex, I generally go with just vanilla, and am not really interested in branching out into the more 'out there' sexual acts.

If this were my own story, I wouldn't be so concerned with this. The problem is that this story is a Sexual Privilege branch, with which comes certain expectations. Therefore, I'll come out and say that my story likely won't be taking full advantage of the free-use setting originally established, in the sense that the MC isn't likely going to go full hedonist and start screwing every girl within an arm's reach. Yellow Fever is still ingrained into the root of the story, though, so I intend to continue here, and there's definitely a few scenes that I'd like to have that can only be justified with the Yellow Fever premise.

In terms of the direction I'm going with this story, the short answer is that I want to focus on the more slice-of-life/wholesome side of things here, featuring the MC and the girls who eventually make up his harem. Sex is just better when it's with someone you love, isn't it?

As a final word, as a newer writer, I'm very glad and grateful for the positive reception I've been getting so far, but I feel that's even more of a reason to have written this. If you choose to stop reading because nothing I've said here appeals to you, then that's perfectly fine. However, if you choose to keep reading what I do here, then...all I can say is that I hope you enjoy what I end up doing.

TL;DR: Don't expect so much from me lol.
