[GM] Just to talk

"I... just wanted someone to talk to," the half-elf said, looking dejectedly down at her feet. She had her knees drawn up to her chest with her arms around them, and was twiddling her fingers together in obvious anxiety. "The first batch of us were brought in just a few hours ago, while it was still daylight out. We were obviously all afraid, but we could at least comfort each other. Once night fell, they all went to sleep though... being alone with my thoughts in a place like this isn't... it's not good."

Ash gave her a quizzical look, shifting her eyes around to take note of the lack of windows in the cell. The only light came from a lit sconce outside the cell, so how could she tell the time of day?

"Oh!" the half-elf exclaimed once she picked up on Ash's unspoken question. "My mother was a sun elf, so I can always sense the time of day, even if I'm underground. And uh, my name's Mickie, by the way." She put her hand out to awkwardly shake Ash's.

It was then that her eyes were drawn to Ash's bandaged shoulder. "Um, I'm guessing that's why you were the last one brought in? Those three over there were dropped in just before you," she said, gesturing to three naked girls who were lying **** a little closer to the cell bars than the rest, "and my group and the group before yours were both batches of four, so I figured... um, did you fight them? Everyone else woke up in a sack with fuzzy memories, so we never saw where we were actually being taken through... do you know if we're still near Eversummer?"

[GM] The half-elf says she just would rather have someone to talk to than be alone with her thoughts in this cell, and introduces herself as Mickie.

[GM] She notices your bandage and presumes that that's why you were brought in later than the other three you were captured alongside. The previous two groups had both been batches of four, which is why she associates you with those three.

[GM] She asks if you fought the bandits, and if so, could you tell her anything about where they'd all been taken through.
