[Chapter I.IV] Tracking the Maiden Thief

Hours later, you return to the clearing once more, having failed to track down this supposed Maiden Thief. Could he have been a fanciful lie, made up by the whore to fool you? Bah, that is impossible, how could a stupid whore even have the intellect to compose a falsehood? Indeed, you are proven right, for stepping into the clearing, you are greeted with the sight of one you seek.

The Maiden Thief is standing there with his hands on his hips. There is yet another young maiden trapped under the tree branch, who gives you pleading eyes.

“I’ve been expecting you,” the Maiden Thief says, flexing his muscles. “What are you going to do, fight me?”
