[AFTERWORD:] The End?

And… that’s it.

The end of Chapter Twelve. The final chapter in the story. Nearly 100,000 words, over 2,000 likes and 200,000 views later… the story’s reached its end.

Well, maybe.

Part of me wants to leave the story here. (That’s the same part of me that idly daydreams about kicking kittens across the room and ordering my minions to sing the Imperial March, though, so maybe I shouldn’t listen to it.) But, no, seriously – the story could end here.

And maybe it should. This is Choose Your Own Adventure, after all – I might be the god of this small thing, but you’re the hero. You’re the one who’s come this far with Emma. Maybe you should be the one who decides how it ends.

...But then again, maybe that’s just a massive fucking cop-out.

Here’s the thing: I do know how the story ends, in my head. I even have an epilogue written. And yeah, there’s that mega-huge bonus sex scene waiting to celebrate us hitting the front page (only 29 likes left!) – so it’s not like Ultimate Fantasies is really over. Not yet, anyway.

But like I said, it’s not up to me to decide on an ending for this thing. It’s up to you.

So… what do y’all think? Maybe this feels like an ending, to you. Or maybe it really fucking doesn’t and you want some proper closure, asshole. Maybe you want closure but you don’t think Emma and James should stay together. I dunno, man. It’s your brain.
