Inside Damien’s mind Rachel was panicking. She knew Damien needed her and she him. She probed all corners of Damien’s mind but she couldn’t find him. What she did find was a little house in the distance and in there she found a particular little girl who she was associated with on a regular basis. “Jasmine honey what are you doing here?” Rachel asked taking a seat next to her. “It’s nice to finally see you as truly are Rachel, or should I call you Raven?” She asked placing tea cozies around the table. “We need to talk about our favorite person. There is something Pin didn’t know and you need to. There is a power greater than what Damien possesses and it is trying to tempt him into giving over his life ****. Despite all you, Paige and Ezriel love and compassion he still yearns to be with his deceased partner Roxanne.” Rachel knew about his relationship with Roxanne from both what he told her and what she was able to pull from his mind each time she dove in. “Until he stabilizes, if he ever stabilizes his power and emotional state he will be subjected to various and possible regular attacks from this darkness, this entity. He will never know peace until he truly let’s go of his grief.” Jay says again “Why is his grief and sadness so strong? I have studied humans in this dimension and while they have a somewhat thinner emotional spectrum than from my own reality, Damien’s seems to be even greater.” “It seems like the baseline of Damien’s abilities were of a very weak empath. He was always able to at the very minimum lightly sense other people and specific things about them. His meeting Roxanne was destined as she was his catalyst to an even greater power that was awakened. I’ll help you find him but you need to promise me something. I need you to make him love you. I know he is halfway there but he is blocked by his grief and feeling of betrayal to his deceased partner. He will not be safe until he finds something else to embrace as wholly as he did his partner. Promise me you will be that lynchpin for him.” Jay finishes looking into Rachel’s eyes. Rachel is speechless at this child’s declaration. “You want me to give myself fully to him? I’m still fighting my own battle, my demons, my loss over my partner. How can I ask someone to do for me what I can’t do for them?” she says nerves starting to rise.

“You and him are a lot alike Rachel. Both are drowning in the darkness and with each other you can arise to greater heights. You and him are meant to start something amazing. He needs you to guide him and you need him to love you. You knew this the moment you met him.” Jay says as she stands and walks towards the door. “I have been waiting for you to come here and now we can go together and find him.” She says as she opens the door as the darkness swelters around the two Jay grabs Rachel’s hand and they are instantly pulled toward a scene out of Damien’s memory. Damien is sitting at a park with “Roxanne” resting her head on his shoulder while they watch their “child” play about. To Damien it is a sunny and beautiful day but to the other two everything is on fire and as they approach Damien a voice rings out. “You are not welcome here. Leave!” Jay suddenly vanishes and Rachel starts to panic. “Your ally has deserted you and you have no chance to reclaim your “partner” the voice scoffs. As Rachel steels herself the voice takes form of an exact mirror image of herself but of when she was possessed by Trigon. “How dare you!” Rachel seethes at the apparition. “Is it bad enough that you **** m-Damien but now you assume my form?” Rachel fires as she gathers strength preparing to fight. “You can’t even claim him as your partner, how do you expect to fight for him if you can’t even trust in yourself?” Faux-Raven sneers back. Rachel knows there is truth to this but she remembers Jay’s words and looks at Damien. “He is mine. I love him and you will not take him away from me!” She says full of false confidence. She knows she has feeling for him but she is afraid that if she opens her heart again that she will lose him too. After Pin’s vision during their exchange she knows that will happen now. “How can I open myself up to him knowing what will happen?” she thinks to herself and instead of her emotions engaging there is silence. Rachel calls out to her alter egos over and over again but no one answers.

“You are all alone Rachel, your emotions abandoned you.” Faux-Raven jabs. Just then a bolt of red energy hits Faux Raven as a string of cusswords fly behind it. “The fuck you mean bitch; we didn’t go anywhere YOUR bitch ass tried to block us. That will never work because we are in Rachel’s head and she joined with Damien. Somehow we can operate outside of Rachel’s mindscape.” Rage spits as she and the rest of her sister’s land near Rachel. Timid walks up to Rachel and places a hand on her shoulder. Brave, Rude, Rage, Love and Happiness (both who are usually bubbly and happy is literally steaming with anger) prepare to fight. Knowledge peers up from her books and begins to chant and the usual lazy Sloth is standing with Timid giving Rachel support. Love screams at Faux-Raven “We lost Gar we will NOT lose Damien” as she unloads on her. As the girls rain down unmitigated damnation and brimstone on Faux-Raven Knowledge turns to Rachel and slaps her across the face. Rachel turns to Knowledge engaging and before she can say anything Knowledge points to Damien. “Go get our man.” Rachel smiles and flies over to where Damien is sitting. As she inserts herself into Damien’s dream He sees Rachel walking on the playground up to him. “Roxanne is busy talking to Damien and trying to keep his attention but he sees Rachel. Rachel looks the exact same to him with a key distinction of her hair. Instead of jet black its dark purple and as she gets close her eyes match it and there is a red diamond in the middle of her forehead. “Rachel what are you doing here?” He asks trying to break from Roxanne but Roxanne gets mad asking who this woman is.

Damien tells Roxanne everything and Roxanne insists that she never died that she was with him the entire time. Damien can feel something is off but is confused by Roxanne’s actions. “Damien, I need you to listen to me. None of this is real but I am. I need you to look at me Damien. LOOK AT ME!!!” She screams at Damien snapping him out of Roxanne’s trance. “Who are you?” he asks looking upon his unfamiliar friend. Rachel removes her trademark hood causing Damien to whistle reflexively and Rachel to blush. Roxanne/Faux-Raven grows furious at Rachel’s actions but is being intensely suppressed by Rachel’s sisters. Rachel harnesses every bit of power and appearing at her side Jay tugs at her cape. “Where did you go?” she says to Jay “Later, right now you have something to do don’t you?” she asks nodding over to Faux-Raven “You have spent all this time learning how to suppress your emotions, now you must let them free within you. Don’t look behind you at your past when there is a brighter future in front of you.” She says. Rachel stops channeling to think about what Jay said just as Faux-Raven broke through the defensive front provided by Rachel’s sisters. “No more distractions and hiding, it’s just you and me.” She says as she banishes Jay from her realm. F-Raven envelopes herself in a dark shroud and begins to hurl bolts at Rachel. Rachel protects herself as she dodges and redirects the energy blasts. F-Raven increases the pressure and eventually her and Rachel are at a standstill. F-Raven begins to merge with her demon form. “You weren’t strong enough to beat our father alone. You need the help of your “friends”. Where are your friends at now little bird? No one will rescue you now.” She taunts as tendrils form and grasps tightly around Rachel’s body. E-Raven begins bombarding Rachel’s body with energy blasts while she taunts her. Slowly the tendrils begin to snake their way up Rachel’s legs and across her body towards her intimate areas.

“NO stop, get away from me” she screams futilely pulling them away from her body. “I don’t think so, from your “sister’s” actions and attitudes it seems like you haven’t released since you lost Garfield. Let’s help you out with that and if we are lucky we will end your connection with Damien so I may have him.” She says coyly as she changes tactics. Instead of her trying to hurt Rachel F-Raven gets the idea that if she can make her climax she will be able to errantly take over her body and trap her in another dimension. As the tendrils worm their way past Rachel’s failing defenses. As the tendrils plunge into her southern orifices Rachel cries out thinking of Damien. “He won’t help you, no one can help you.” F-Raven whispers into Rachel’s ear as one hand moved down to her sensitive nub. “Just give in Rachel, I promise I will spend the rest of eternity drowning you in pleasure. Just give in to it and accept your surrender, accept the fact that no one will ever love you like I can nor can please you like I can. I know your body better than you do.” She says as she drags her tongue up Rachel’s neck and pinches her sensitive nerve. Rachel suppresses a small scream as she orgasms and F-Raven laughs and taunts Rachel “Why hold back we can have so much fun if you give in to me.” Rachel continues to hold on for dear life and existence as F-Raven continues to torment her. Just as Rachel is ready to give up she sees Gar’s face and remembers all the time he brought her back from the brink. She remembers the love she developed for him over their teenage years and into adulthood. She remembered the hurt and pain when Gar was taken away from her. She then remembers Damien and all the amazing times they had together and the first time she felt a greater love for him, their first kiss and her first erotic dream about him. “Fight it Rae, I know you can” Gar says to her in a memory from when she was close to succumbing to her darkness. Rachel opens her eyes and looks at Damien. Screaming into her connection with him and hoping he has the strength to fight F-Raven’s control Rachel begs for Damien to wake up. “I need you right now, please wake up. Please wake up.” A voice whispers into Damien’s subconscious. Damien finally wakes up and sees Rachel. F-Raven looks back and sees Damien beginning to regain his composure and mental faculties. She suddenly appears before Damien as Roxanne and tries to keep him off balance. Damien can hear Rachel and looks at Roxanne/F-Raven. “You aren’t my Roxy. Leave. Now!” he says as he banishes her from his mind.;
