::Game Rules::

Most of this has been at least partially explained, but for the sake of new Voices and just to collate the information I shall repeat the basic rules of this story below.

So, first of all, comments made either in the comments on the newest page or the voting thread are, with exceptions of comments or posts directed at me or about the story itself, treated as something the protagonist and other characters in the scene are aware of and may affect the character directly.

Second there will not actually be voting per se. Instead all suggestions made by readers will be taken by the protagonist and will decide what the protagonist does next. Multiple suggestions can be made in one post.

IE: Checking for traps before opening a door can be one suggestion. You do not need to just suggest checking for traps, and then wait for the next post to suggest opening the door.

Suggestions made by more than one person will be given more weight than single suggestions,

ie: if there is a choice of doors, two people suggesting going through the 1st door will be more likely to direct the character than the single person who suggested the second door.

The character will have stats, but they are mostly representative. The protagonist at 50% health is not almost dead, but they are probably pretty exhausted and or injured and might not do well without some rest.

The stats will be

Health/HP: A representation of how well the character is doing in a physical sense. This is lost from taking injuries, physical exertion and certain states the character might be afflicted with. This can be recovered with various items, magic or from taking a rest.

Mana/MP: A representation of how well the character is doing in a mental sense. This is lost by casting spells, nonconsensual sexual encounters, grave injuries and certain states. This can be recovered with various items, consensual sex or from taking a rest.
