(Subplot) Tina Discovers Naked Ambition

Tina woke up naked and with a hangover in her South Bronx apartment. That wasn't unusual for her on a Saturday morning, though the fact her duvet and bed sheets were nowhere to be seen gave her the impression last night was heavier than usual.

Tina hated the reputation she seemed to have as a party girl. It was really only at the weekends she let her hair down, as a reward to herself for putting up with another week of her boring job as a PA to a local accountant. She was 25 so drinking was how people her age socialised, and it didn't hurt that, as a beautiful, full figured Latino girl, she was never required to buy her own drinks.

As Tina tried to piece together how yesterday night had gone down there was one particular guy who had taken a strong interest in her. Unusually though, he hadn't seemed as **** to fuck her as most guys who approached her. She just kind of remembered him talking to her and asking her questions. Something about him working for a tech company and wanting to show her an app he had been working on?

It hardly mattered now, Tina doubted she would see the guy again and even if she did he wasn't really her type. It had just been a nice change to drink with a guy who wasn't entirely focused on getting her into bed for once.

Looking at her alarm, Tina saw it was getting close to eleven already. She really needed to get herself up and not spend the entirety of her all too short weekend in bed. Still baffled as to what had become of her bedding, Tina walked over to her bedroom door, took her dressing gown from the hook it was hanging on there and covered herself with it. Then, seconds later she found herself naked again.

Tina paused for a moment in immense confusion. Was she imagining things now? She was certain she had just put on her dressing gown. Maybe she really did need to cut down on the drinking. Undeterred she walked to her underwear drawer, pulled out a pair of black lacey panties and pulled them on. This time she watched them disappear.

"The fuck?!" Tina exclaimed.

There was no explanation for this. She was sober by now for sure and no amount of drinking could cause her to imagine her underwear just vanishing like that. She tried on another pair of panties with the same result, then a bra an t-shirt. This was crazy. Why were her clothes vanishing on her? Melrose wasn't exactly the safest place to walk around fully dressed. If she ever wanted to leave her apartment again she had to get this shit dealt with quickly.

By now memories of the previous evening were beginning to reform a little in her mind, even if they were patchy. The guy who she had been drinking with hadn't actually tried to sleep with her, but he did remember him talking about her being naked quite a bit. If that was how he got off it hadn't really bothered Tina as long as the drink kept coming. But now it seemed like more than a coincidence.

Tina grabbed her phone and unlocked it in search of clues. It didn't take her long to find one - an unfamiliar looking app on her phone called Naked Ambition. She opened it up to see she had a profile on there. Someone had taken a photo of her in the bar she had been in last night holding a cocktail in one hand, making a peace sign with the other and winking. Next to that was her "Naked Score" - currently 36%. She had unread messages from Naked Ambition and clicked on the first one in the hope of any explanation for all of this craziness.

What the fuck was going on here? Was this a joke? There was a section titled "challenges" which she clicked on. There was one there waiting for her already.

"Walk around the block once, naked" Tina read the challenge out loud to herself in disbelief. She was supposed to go wandering around South Bronx naked. Were they fucking crazy? Whoever designed this app must have been more intoxicated than she had ever got. Completely out of ideas at this point, Tina next used her phone to call the one person she knew she could rely on in any situation, no matter how crazy. Her sister.

"Hey, Elena it's me!" Tina ran her hand through her hair and sighed as she spoke. How was she even going to begin to explain this "Look, I'm fine but I've got this pretty crazy situation I need your help with. Can you come over to mine. Like now?"
