(Subplot) John’s Farewell

John woke up the empty apartment for about the third day in a row and he had to admit it was nice not being flooded with naked women. His friends would call him crazy for it but John was a simple man that really only wanted to focus on one woman not a whole club of them. He had received a few texts over the past few days from Mel saying;

Hey John! Just wanted to let you know that we are about to get on our flight.

Hey! Sorry it’s probably late for you but we just landed in Salt Lake City and it is freezing! God, I wish I could wear a warm jacket or even a scarf.

We took a group picture of all of the “glitches” together. Only Lexie wasn’t in that one since she didn’t want to be in the picture.

I made a new friend, Lexie. She is so awesome so I’m sending you a pic of her. P.S. her blue hair is natural jk jk

She had sent a pic of 11 naked women all huddled up together and striking various poses. There was also another one of Mel with the blue and black haired, Lexie. Eight more naked women to add in John’s life…John was already uncomfortable with Mel’s nudity and thought making her engaged would help. Truthfully, her being away during the initial stages of their engagement plus Mel’s tendency to engage in sex with women was starting to eat at him.

It was different when he was around her while these things happened but she’s on the other side of the world with the new chick and he wouldn’t see her for three months. Long distance relationships had been possible for other couples but both of these people are usually clothed and not living with eleven other naked women. John looked at his phone and built a text for Mel. He had been building it up in his head since last night and decided he needed to do it.

He wanted a wedding where his wife and her bridesmaids weren’t completely naked…

He wanted a wife that wasn’t so bisexual that she leaned more towards women…

He wanted someone that he could walk around with that men had to undress with her with their eyes instead of already being naked and no guessing was needed…

He wanted a normal woman and he had that with Mel before all of this Naked Ambition bullshit. Mel was his trophy girlfriend and she was perfect with all her clothes on. She just wasn’t Mel anymore and seeing her change was not entirely her fault. John kinda claimed himself since it seemed that the real Mel was blossoming before him and he was halfway across the world.

John rubbed his eyes as he was fighting back tears, knowing that he needed some semblance of normalcy and letting Mel go was the first step. Mel would be happy without John weighing her down and she would be free to guilt free to do whatever she wanted. The app would cause her to make sexual choices without any logic or concern so John knew that if the engagement and relationship was over she could be herself.

John wrote up this text and sent it:

Mel, my love-

I write this to you as someone who truly has thought about the importance that you have in my life. I happy to see the person you have become and want your happy more than anything. I write this with a heavy heart and clear conscience that I will be ending our engagement as well as our overall relationship. You may be considering why but my mind is made up. We have become two different people and I think this may be for the best when it comes to making sure that we both get what we want in this life.

I encourage you to keep blossoming into the wonderful woman that you are and that you brought me so much happiness. I can only thank you for all that you have done for me over all of these years. Whenever you get back to London, let me know and I can get you your things once you find a new place to live. May you find your true happiness and purpose.
