(Subplot) Abigail Joins Naked Ambition

It had seemed such an uneventful day for Abigail as she sat at the dinner table with her roommate Caitlin and a couple of her other friends. The 21 year old was in her final year at Oklahoma State University where she was in her final year studying psychology. It was a great source of pride to her family that she had been the first to make it to University. She had gotten all of the McKee families brains and beauty her mother often joked. She was a diligent worker and progressing well towards her final exams. Still, it was nice to just chill with her friends sometimes. Growing up in a small and somewhat inward looking town she had loved getting to mix with people her own age from all over the country.

"So have you heard about this Naked Life app Abi?" Caitlin asked.

"Naked Ambition" Monique corrected "It's the dumbest idea, and it's impossible to get accepted. I tried three times already"

"Yeah, I don't know anyone who has been able to get on there. It always says something about not being a suitable candidate" Kassidy added.

"Well, why are we even discussing it then?" Abigail wondered.

"Who knows. maybe you might be the lucky one!" Caitlyn winked.

"Well I don't see why I would be" Abigail shrugged "And what does it even do?"

"It supposedly challenges you to leave your comfort zone and build your personality by doing things in the nude. It gives you scores for it or something" was Monique's understanding.

"Why would I even want to do that?" Abigail blushed a little. Coming from such a conservative background that she was still a virgin at 21 despite all the attention she always got from boys, even the topic of conversation moving to her theoretically being naked made her feel a little uncomfortable.

"Oh, come on Abi it's just some dumb app. I wouldn't think too deeply about it" Caitlin giggled at her close friends defensive reaction.

Later that evening, back in the dorm that she shared with Caitlin, Abigail found her mind wandering back to the app her friends had been talking about earlier. She knew in herself her background had made her seem prudish and old fashioned to her friends who mostly came from big cities out of state. Caitlyn was out with her boyfriend and, a little bored, Abigail figured it couldn't hurt to at least find and download the app. Even in the unlikely event she was the one girl on campus who had her application accepted, it wasn't like she was going to go streaking down the halls. Even being able to picture herself naked in front of a guy without feeling embarrassed would be a start.

With the app now on her phone, Abigail decided she may as well apply for Naked Ambition even just out of curiosity to see if she was accepted. She snapped a photo of herself just sitting on her bed as she was now and entered her details into the app. She then almost without giving it a second thought pressed the button to apply. It was just moments later her app buzzed with a response.
