Another Day

I awaken in the morning going through the same boring routine. Having a morning meal with the other crew members and then talking to Alexandra. She tells me that she really likes being on the ship and that the doctor has been teaching her and having her help him out. I smile and find comfort in the fact that Alexandra seems to finally be happy here. I don't tell her of what I've had to do to keep us on board, but somehow hearing her say that makes it all seem worth it.

After our chat I go up to see the Captain.

"Kaitlin my dear, I have good news or bad news. Well I have news. Unfortunately this is as far as my crews journey takes us" He says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well from this point on we're heading back now I know you and your friend came on board with little to **** but now I give you your choice."

"You mean I can leave?"

"Exactly. If you choose to do so. Although I would be remiss to not say that I would love if you would stay with the crew you've been such a help with all these small issues, but alas it is your choice."
