"Thank you Captain Killian but my journey is not yet finished." I say

"Ahh. I understand Miss Kaitlin I will be sad to see you go but nonetheless I wish you luck in your journey. We will be arriving to the next city of Tarkus any time now so pack your bags and say your goodbyes pretty soon, and by the way here is a bit of gold it should buy you weeks stay at the Inn and for some food as well." He says.

"Thank you I don't know what to say" I mutter out.

"No thanks needed now get going."

I leave the captain's quarters and keep the gold he gave me in a pouch all I have is the sheer dress that was given to me and my flats. I make my way over to Alexandra.

"Hey Alex!" I cheerily say.

"Hey Kaitlin! What's up?" She responds

"I don't know how to say this but, " I start off "Captain gave me a choice if I wanted to stay or keep going on my own and well... I'm leaving at the next city."

"What? Why?" Alexandra asks shockingly.

"Well my place isn't here and I have to keep going for my people. It's like you said those bandits changed us and I just know I have to keep going." Tears start to well up in my eyes.

"No don't go I'll..." She tries to speak holding back her tears, "I'll miss you."

"I know Alex. I'll miss you to, but this isn't my place come with me I have more than enough."

"I... I like it here though I never thought I'd get a second chance at life and this place, this ship, and this crew gave it to me" She says "But If you know this isn't your place then don't let me hold you back. Live your life find your purpose. Just remember you'll always have me if you ever need me."

We sit together and keep talking until the ship arrives to Tarkus in what feels like no time we arrive and I hug Alexandra for the last time before departing from the ship and heading for the Tarkus Inn.
