Chapter One
The defeat had already been humiliating enough. What made it unbearable was the woman responsible for it.
Mitsuki had never lost a match in her professional career. Years of training, countless victories, and a reputation built on overwhelming strength had made her one of the most feared fighters in women’s combat sports. Her opponents were growing fewer and fewer and increasingly frightened.
Until Irina came along.
She was everything Mitsuki despised in a fighter: young and inexperienced, ridiculously popular, and seemingly more interested in entertaining her fans than taking martial arts seriously.
With her long, silky blonde hair, delicate features, and innocent appearance, she looked more like a model than a professional fighter. Her massive fan base originally came from her video game streams, where her cheerful personality and surprisingly sharp competitive instinct had made her an internet star.
But beneath that pretty face lay something far more dangerous. Irina had a natural talent for fighting.
Her reflexes were extraordinary, her fighting instinct almost frightening, and her ability to read her opponent and anticipate their moves improved with every match. She had climbed the rankings at a staggering pace, defeating women with far more experience.
Including Mitsuki.
Their first match had ended with the unthinkable: the undefeated champion lying on the mat, staring at the ceiling as the referee declared Irina the winner.
Mitsuki had insisted it was a fluke, a lucky submission—nothing more.
Unfortunately, Irina hadn’t been particularly magnanimous about her victory, and now, standing just a few inches away from her rival, Mitsuki was beginning to remember exactly why she hated that exasperating blonde.
They had met in a private training room after an afternoon of practice. Both women were still wearing their fight gear, their skin glistening with sweat.
Mitsuki was the taller of the two, with short, raven-black hair framing a sharp, attractive face, despite her tomboyish look. Her muscular shoulders, powerful thighs, and well-defined abs revealed years of relentless training. A black sports bra hugged her ample bust, while matching briefs and fingerless boxing gloves completed her outfit.
Her physique was intimidating, but her expression was even more so. She stood perfectly straight, staring at Irina with an intensity that would make most opponents reconsider their life choices.
Irina, unfortunately, didn’t seem particularly intimidated.
The blonde was shorter, with a softer, more curvaceous figure that stood in stark contrast to Mitsuki’s athletic build. Her long hair fell past her waist, and her white workout top, trimmed in black, struggled to contain her ample bust. A pair of tight white briefs completed her outfit.
Despite her voluptuous appearance, there was nothing clumsy about her movements. She stood at ease in front of Mitsuki, her arms crossed beneath her chest, looking up at the taller woman with a calm, almost bored expression.
For several seconds, neither of them spoke. Then Mitsuki finally broke the silence.
“It’s just the two of us today,” she declared. “We can go all out.”
Irina raised an eyebrow. “Couldn’t you even wait for the next official match?”
Mitsuki clenched her jaw. “I’ll prove, once and for all, that I’m the strongest.” Irina scrutinized her face for a moment. Then her lips curved into a small, provocative smile. “Losing to me really hurt you that much, huh?”
Mitsuki felt her cheeks grow hot.
"Don't flatter yourself."
“Oh?” Irina tilted her head. “Then why are we here?”
“Because that fight was just a fluke!”
Irina’s smile widened.
Mitsuki took a step forward, bringing their faces dangerously close and pressing her chest against her opponent’s. “It was just an unlucky day. That’s all.”
“Sure.”
“And don’t think you’ll get lucky twice.”
“It wouldn’t even cross my mind.” The blonde’s amused tone was almost worse than an outright insult. Mitsuki clenched her fists.
How could she be so damn relaxed?
She’d spent weeks replaying their previous encounter in her mind. Every mistake, every failed attempt to escape, every second spent trapped in Irina’s grip as she choked her with sadistic determination and unexpected strength.
It had happened so quickly that the memory still turned her stomach.
She’d gone into the match confident, almost certain of victory. Irina was a talented newcomer, sure, but talent alone certainly couldn’t overcome years of experience and discipline.
At least, that’s what Mitsuki had believed.
Then, almost before she could react properly, the blonde had slipped up behind her. An arm wrapped around her neck, followed by another hand that tightened the grip. Irina’s ample breasts pressed firmly against her upper back as, with no effort at all, she pulled the taller woman into a tight chokehold from behind.
Mitsuki remembered the sudden pressure, the shock of being caught off guard, and the horrible realization that she couldn’t break free. She had flailed her arms desperately as she struggled to loosen Irina’s grip, but the blonde had held her off with an almost insulting ease.
And then came the worst part. Irina had smiled. She had actually smiled while choking an undefeated champion, as if she were having the time of her life.
The warmth of Irina’s chest had made her feel an unnatural weakness and, at the same time, a comfort that was inappropriate for a fight. Mitsuki had barely managed to hold on before her strength gave out and the referee stepped in. It had all happened in the space of a few moments.
The mere memory was enough to make Mitsuki flush with anger. Martial arts were all she had in the world.
While other girls had spent their teenage years having fun, Mitsuki had trained. While her classmates went to parties and went on dates, she had endured grueling training sessions, painful injuries, and endless competitions. Every victory had been earned through discipline and sacrifice.
She wasn’t one of those internet celebrities who’d stumbled into this sport by chance. She was a champion. And she intended to remind Irina of that.
Meanwhile, the woman responsible for her first defeat was standing right there in front of her as if they were discussing what to have for dinner.
It was infuriating. Worse still, Mitsuki couldn’t deny that Irina was attractive. Annoyingly so.
Her long hair, half-closed blue eyes, soft, inviting lips, and natural confidence gave her a charm that Mitsuki found increasingly difficult to ignore.
But she had no intention of letting herself be distracted by that. Not again.
“I don’t have time to waste on this stuff, you know,” the blonde said nonchalantly, interrupting Mitsuki’s thoughts while looking at her nails.
Mitsuki narrowed her eyes. “Then stop talking and fight me.”
“Oh, I will.” Irina smirked againa and then staerted to spread her arms and stretched her shoulders, her long blonde hair swaying gently behind her. Her expression remained perfectly relaxed, as if the prospect of fighting a furious former champion didn’t worry her in the least.
“You know,” she continued, “it was pretty obvious who the better fighter was in our last match, wasn’t it?”
“Watch your mouth.”
“Wasn’t it enough that you got choked the first time?”
Mitsuki’s face turned crimson. “THAT MATCH WAS A FLUKE!”
Irina laughed, covering her mouth with one hand. “Oh, Mitsuki. It’s so much fun to tease you.”
“Keep laughing while you still can.”
The blonde’s gaze lingered on her rival’s flushed cheeks. “You’re really cute when you get angry, you know that?”
“C-Cute?!” Mituski cheeks became bright red.
“See? That’s exactly it.”
Mitsuki looked away, clenching her teeth. The last thing she needed was this annoying girl flirting with her while she was trying to prepare for the most important rematch of her career.
Yet, the worst part was that Irina seemed to know exactly how to get on her nerves.
“Are you going to take this seriously or not?” Mitsuki asked.
Irina gave her a curious look. “Who says I’m not serious?”
“You’re treating this like a game!”
“Well, I like winning at games.”
“This isn’t one of your stupid livestreams!”
“I know.” Irina smiled sweetly. “My viewers would probably love to see me beat you again, though.”
Mitsuki was about to explode. “YOU—!”
“Relax, I’m just kidding!” The blonde giggled, clearly enjoying herself.
Mitsuki took a deep breath, forcing herself to regain control. Getting angry was exactly what Irina wanted, and she refused to make the same mistake twice.
Besides, she’d spent weeks preparing specifically for this match. She’d studied her opponent’s movements, practiced breaking free from rear neck holds, and trained relentlessly to ensure her strength and stamina would never let her down again.
This time, she wouldn’t underestimate Irina. And this time, she wouldn’t lose.
“Enough talk,” Mitsuki said, tightening her gloves. “Let’s set the record straight.”
Irina’s smile slowly faded. For a brief moment, the playful girl vanished, replaced by the focused, dangerous young woman who had defeated her. It was a subtle change, but Mitsuki noticed it immediately.
“All right,” Irina replied in a subdued voice. “But don’t complain later.”
Mitsuki smiled mockingly. “Funny. I was just about to say the same thing to you.”
Irina took a few steps back toward the center of the mat, brushing her long hair off one shoulder. “So, does surrender decide the winner?”
“That’s fine with me.”
“And does the loser admit that the winner is the better fighter?”
Mitsuki’s mocking smile widened. “With pleasure.”
Irina tilted her head, thinking something over. “How about we make a little bet?”
“A bet?”
“Something to make things more interesting.”
Mitsuki crossed her arms. “I'm ready for everything. What do you want?”
Irina’s gaze slowly swept over the taller woman’s imposing physique before returning to her eyes. “Hmm. Loser becomes the winner’s sexual pet. Unless that’s too much for the ex-champion?”
“Don’t get too cocky. You won’t win.”
“That’s what you said last time, too.”
Mitsuki’s eye twitched.
Irina laughed once more before finally assuming a relaxed fighting stance. “Ready, champ?”
Mitsuki raised her fists, staring at her rival with a determined gaze. “More than you can imagine.”
Silence fell over the room.
There were no spectators, no cameras, and no referee to interrupt them. Just two women standing face to face, their pride and rivalry hanging in the balance.
For Mitsuki, this was her chance to reclaim everything she’d lost.
For Irina, it seemed like nothing more than a game.
And perhaps—judging by the mischievous smirk that crept back onto her lips—a chance to have a little fun with the beautiful, hot-tempered champion standing before her. She was secretly a fan of hers, after all.
Mitsuki took a deep breath. “This time, I’ll crush her,” she thought to herself.
Irina looked at her with an almost affectionate expression. “She’s even sexier when she’s angry,” thought the young woman, who was in love with her idol.
Their eyes met. Both women were ready to fight.
