(16-20) You notice someting at your feet

Dread sets in as you kneel down in front of the statue, readying yourself to do unspeakable things. But before you commit to doing anything you might regret, something catches your eye. The plaque with the riddle is set at the base of the statue, but the bottom edge of the plaque extends out past the base by a little bit. out of curiosity you try to lift the plaque and to your shock, it moves. underneath is a small alcove that houses a small black key. as you reach to pick it up, you notice another inscription on the underside of the plaque.

Thank the gods you took a second look at the plaque, or else you may have done something you would regret.
