'Meeting' Some Orcs

The only way to really find out if they are friendly or not is to approach them. If they attack, then they attack. No big deal. And so, standing up Krvavy begins to head down towards the Orcs. Resting her axe over her shoulder and waving her other hand around in greeting, Krvavy loudly calls out. “Hello there!”

Krvavy narrows her eyes at that notification. “What, just telling me that now? Fucks sake...”

The three Orcs quickly jerk their heads up and stare towards Krvavy. The large one grabs his hammer and immediately jumps to his feet before yelling out in some guttural language.

Krvavy just sighs as that popup fills her vision. “Of course, just my luck...” she grumbles out, “nothing I do is allowed to be easy...”

The large Orc barks an order to the others, dragging Krvavy’s attention away from her notifications. Seemingly in reaction to whatever order was just given, the other male grabs up his bow to begin stringing it as the female scrambles for her spear.

These three Orcs might just be trying to intimate Krvavy and scare her off, like you’d do to a wild animal. She can’t really blame them either, as she probably looks like whatever their equivalent of a crackhead is stumbling towards them on a dark night.

But, to be honest, their motive doesn’t really matter to Krvavy. She can’t talk to them and she isn’t going to just run away without seeing how strong they are. So it is time for a fight.

Krvavy immediately breaks out into a sprint, grabbing onto her axe with both hands while charging down the hill towards the Orcs.

The large Orc with a hammer runs to meet her head on, and as soon as he is close enough Krvavy swings her axe down at him. He seems to have expected that though, as he is able to just narrowly dodge her strike.

He quickly takes advantage of Krvavy’s miss leaving her open, swinging his war-hammer directly into her midsection.

The hit forces the air from Krvavy’s lungs and stings painfully, but only causes her to slightly stagger. The hammer-wielding Orc seems a bit surprised by how little his attack affects her, which distracts him enough that he is caught off guard by Krvavy’s elbow flying towards his face, where it collides with a wet crunch.

Clutching at his now broken nose, the hammer-wielding Orc staggers back, opening himself up to Krvavy. She immediately capitalizes on that by striking out at his head with the base of her bone-handled axe, knocking him back and off his feet before bringing the head of her axe down on him.

As the crude bladed edge of Krvavy’s axe digs into his chest, the female Orc loudly shrieks out. That catches Krvavy’s attention, as she assumes that the female Orc is charging her with the spear. But when she looks up she sees that the female Orc has fallen backwards onto the ground in a panic.

A sharp pain shoots out from Krvavy’s thigh. Jerking her head down she sees that the hammer-wielding Orc took advantage of the distraction to stab her with a thin knife.

The Orc on the ground beneath Krvavy twists the blade in her leg, which causes an angry growl to **** its way through her lips and a haze of rage to descend over her mind. As the Orc yells out at the others Krvavy grabs the knife and tears it from her leg, tossing it aside before lifting her leg up and stomping down onto the back of her axe.

An arrow whizzes past Krvavy’s face, just narrowly missing as she tears her axe free from the corpse beneath her. With a feral look in her eyes, Krvavy focuses on the Orc archer as he draws back another arrow on his bow.

Without a thought in her rage-filled mind, Krvavy charges down the hill towards the two remaining Orcs. The archer shouts out as he looses his arrow, and the spear-wielding female Orc shakily steps forwards.

The arrow slams into Krvavy’s left shoulder, though it doesn’t slow her down in the slightest as she barrels towards the two Orcs. The spear-wielding female Orc shakily stabs out at Krvavy, but all that does is buy enough time for the Orc archer to loose another arrow at Krvavy.

The arrow grazes past Krvavy’s arm, lightly cutting her but ultimately missing its mark as she violently swings her axe to meet the spear, shattering its shaft and disarming the female Orc.

As the now spearless Orc stumbles back harmlessly, Krvavy’s attention returns to the Orc archer who is now almost within her reach. Krvavy lunges forwards as he draws back another arrow, swinging her axe horizontally. The crude iron head of her weapon crashing through his bow, rendering it useless, and continues on straight toward his armoured torso.

The hit causes the Orc to stagger back and drop the arrow along with the remains of his bow. As he frantically grasps at his tunic, looking for a weapon to fight, Krvavy continues to swing her axe at his side again and again. Each hit cuts deeper into his armour and his side, and staggers him even more than the last, though miraculously he remains on his feet through it all.

In a **** move, the Orc archer lunges towards Krvavy, getting between her and the head of her axe. He grabs onto the arrow lodged into her shoulder and tears it free before stabbing it back down into her side.

Krvavy bashes her fist into the Orc archer, pushing him back as he tears the arrow out of her body one last time. Rather than fight back, he turns his head to the Orc female and shouts out at her. That gives Krvavy the chance to raise her axe high above her head and swing down with the weight of her entire body behind it.

Whatever words the archer was yelling out come to a sudden gurgling stop as Krvavy’s axe crunches its way through his collarbone and rib cage.

The female Orc screams in terror, drawing Krvavy’s attention. Jerking her head towards the scream, Krvavy catches sight of the Orc scrambling up the hill as she tries running away.

Krvavy’s mind is still clouded by the haze, unable to think straight, but her anger begins to fade away as she watches the Orc female trip over herself trying to flee. This last Orc isn’t a threat to Krvavy. She isn’t a foe to fight. She is nothing more than prey.

Excitement and anticipation for the hunt fill her instinct-driven mind. Dropping her axe, letting it fall to the ground with the corpse of the Orc archer, Krvavy takes off after her fleeing prey.
