Chapter 4 by thesuperman90 thesuperman90

What does he type?

"healthy"

After changing the word to "healthy" Sean hit the submit button, felt his phone vibrate, and then congratulate him on another successful change. Rolling his eyes, and far too tired to contemplate things any further, the broad chested man plugged his phone in to charge, tucked himself into bed, and slipped into an uncomfortable sleep, cuddling his wife as the big spoon.

When he woke up the next morning, a nice Spring Saturday was happening outside. The sun was shining through a small crack in the drapes and he could hear birds chirping outside. He groaned and rolled over to feel for his wife. Sean's big hand patted the bed next to him and didn't feel anything. For a moment he panicked as he sat up and looked around. Jessica usually slept in until much later than he did on the weekends, especially after a migraine. From downstairs, Sean could hear his wife humming and just being her happy-go-lucky self. He laid back down for a moment and then turned to check the time. It was only just past seven-thirty in the morning. He sat back up, stretched a bit and checked his phone for messages.

The first screen he saw was The App. The messaged read, "No phrases available at this time. Check back later!" He shrugged, did his morning business in the bathroom and wandered downstairs to see how his wife was feeling.

When he got down there, Sean's jaw dropped. Jessica was up on a ladder getting the dust bunnies out of the corner of the living room. She was shaking her butt and singing along to the music that played on the stereo. She turned and saw him in the reflection of the television that hung on the wall near her and she smiled her big, warm smile. He could only smile back and watch as she quickly hopped off the ladder, and practically ran over to give him his good morning hug and kiss. As he watched he noticed her mannerisms were different. In the past she'd never be able to "hop" off a ladder. She wasn't moving with any of the slow, methodical steps she normally took. Her head still bobbed along with the music and he just grinned back at her.

"So I take it your headache is gone?"

Jessica laughed at him and shook her head. "What do you mean? I never get headaches." Sean gawked and couldn't tell if Jessica was joking around with him or if she was being serious.

"Oh, so you didn't have a massive migraine, take your medicine, and go to bed at eight o'clock?" He smiled mischievously at her trying to see if she would admit that she was kidding.

The pink-haired woman just shook her head and laughed as she went back to cleaning, climbing the ladder with ease and no signs of discomfort. "You're being so goofy this morning. I told you last night I wanted to get to bed early so I could get the cleaning done before noon." She shook her ass at him again and then turned to wink at him, "Why don't you go back upstairs and get some clothes on. I need you to run to the store and get some things for breakfast."

With that, she went back to humming along to the music and acting like she wasn't in any pain whatsoever.

Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, Sean went back upstairs and got ready to head to the store. He opened the closet where his dresser was and begin pulling out clothes: A pair of jeans, an undershirt, a different t-shirt, and a pair of boxers. When Sean opened his sock drawer he had to stop himself from crying out. He put a hand over his mouth and swallowed the scream that was building there.

They were blue.

All of them.

Every.

Single.

Pair.

How does Sean react?
