Chapter 5
by thesuperman90
How does Sean react?
He freaks out a bit.
Sean stared down at his sock drawer for more than a moment. In fact he sat down on the bed, which was just behind him, and contemplated what had happened. He ran through every possible way he could end up with all blue socks, but he knew for a fact he'd had red, white, blue, black, _and _grey pairs of socks yesterday morning when he got ready for work. He that because he had to match two red ones together from the laundry basket downstairs before he got his lunch ready.
He began to hyperventilate and shift his thoughts to the implications made by The App regarding reality shifting and the other change he'd made. As his breathing got faster and faster, his vision began to tunnel while he thought about the idea that his wife had changed more than just her health. He quickly pulled out his phone, navigated to his wife's Facebook page and he began to scroll. The gray edges of his vision began to return.
Gone were all the posts about how she hated her headaches, or how frustrated she was that her doctors hadn't discovered what was causing her burning pain, or how she despised not being able to do things normal people could. In their place were posts about her crafting and cosplay ideas, sketches she'd drawn, and pictures from being outside on walks or in their little garden.
After realizing that The App had probably improved things in her life and that their relationship hadn't changed significantly (if at all), Sean began to calm down. If he'd changed her for the better, then he was happy he hadn't chosen something more chaotic when he altered that phrase.
He took several breaths to calm himself and, still hearing his wife's happy singing downstairs, Sean opened The App again and took a serious look at all of the features, which were very few. He found a section where he could view the date and time of his last change along with an un-editable version of the changes he'd made. Right now there were only two. As he browsed back to the main screen he was both disappointed and relieved to see that there were no changes available at this time.
So he did what he thought was best for the time being (the best thing for any husband or significant other to do, really), and did exactly what his wife asked him to do. He finished getting ready (blue socks and all), found the grocery list Jessica had sent him and put on a normal face. Sean went downstairs to find his wife putting a load of laundry into the washing machine. He came up behind her, gave her a sweet kiss and hug, then nuzzled her nose before heading to the door. With one last look at her, Sean smiled brightly.
Now that he was more awake and had a different frame of reference for things, he noticed that Jessica looked a bit more in shape. The little jiggles of fat on her arms were mostly gone now and her body was thinner. While she still had the generous curves she'd ways had, the little pooch in her tummy she always complained about was gone. Sean always thought his wife was beautiful, and even though her headaches and pain condition had stopped her from being able to exercise the way she wanted, it was her heart and mind he loved more than anything.
He snuck up behind her and gave her another tight, loving hug, then kissed her on the lips with tenderness. "Is there anything else you wanted me to get while I'm out?"
Jessica returned her husband's second, unexpected kiss with energy and a big smile. A soft moan escaped her plump lips as Sean's hands found her ass and cupped it. He found a bit less there to squeeze and was able to feel a more toned butt than before. "No. Nothing except more of _that _when you get home." She pecked him on the lips one last time before she swatted his butt playfully and went back to the laundry.
As he drove to the grocery store, Sean's mind kept going back to The App. The power that thing wielded was insane and chaotic. It made not only the specific change he submitted, but the entirety of reality around him. After a short drive he found himself parking in the mostly empty lot outside Rainbow Foods, the grocery chain closest to his house.
He grabbed a cart, opened his shopping list, and began the boring task of getting the few things Jessica had asked for. Sean had just finished getting apples, bananas, and strawberries and was headed through the bakery when his phone buzzed. Looking down he saw it was The App with another change available. He pulled his cart in between two multi-tiered tables, one with decorative bread and the other with cupcakes to see what the option was.
"Bakery Employee/College Student, Jennifer Fredericks, has natural breasts that fit into a thirty-four E-cup bra." Sean looked at the phrase and frowned in confusion. The App had deemed to give him a very sexual option this time. He looked around and saw a pretty young blonde with bright blue eyes stocking some pre-made garlic bread onto the shelf about ten feet from him. She wasn't even paying attention to him as she went about her duties. Standing up and smoothing down her uniformed apron, Sean could see that the app seemed pretty accurate about the size of her tits. Jennifer Fredricks appeared to be college age and, despite her bright blue eyes, didn't seem to care too much about the goings on around her. As she turned her head his way, Sean quickly picked up a package of sugar cookies and pretended to look from his phone to the package. Jennifer wandered away having not noticed anything at all.
As she went back behind the counter...Sean locked his phone, set the cookies down and shook his head, walking away to get some sliced ham from the deli which was situated just across the aisle from the bakery. As he waited for the kindly old man to slice the ham he asked for, Sean pulled his phone back out, unlocked the screen, and noticed the app was still there, tempting him with the same phrase.
And he was very tempted.
What does Sean do?
