"Yes..."

"Yes..." You say as your heart starts to thump anticipating his response. Dakota's face becomes completely red hearing your response. Few minutes of silence makes your heart race faster. Anxiety starts to ramp up as you fear that you just ruin your friendship with Dakota.

"I-I like you to Alex." He says as he mumbles out loud. Hearing this makes butterflies flip in your stomach. You both basking in the silence you finally speak up. "Do you want to go to the fair me this weekend?" You asked him. Dakota nods.

Then both you and Dakota start to laugh out of joy. "God! We already acting lovely Dovey." You say jokingly. Dakota adding to your comment. "What next pet names?" He says. You punch his arm playfully and give him a wink. "Not yet!" You say toward him.

You and Dakota goof around during the whole time. Not really paying attention to the class lecture. When the bell rings you and the rest of the class exit the room quickly wanting to get out. While walking with Dakota down the hallways you see Veronica talking to the new student James.

"Check it out. I think Veronica found herself a new victim," Dakota says pointing it out. You see Veronica brushing her hair behind her ears and James talking to her.

Not really caring you grab his hand and drag Dakota along. "Come on who cares!" You say.

You then lead Dakota toward your History Class with Ash. You encounter Ash midway on the hallways. She sees you holding Dakota's hand. "Ha! Finally, you both got together!" Ash, commenting on both of you. "Who was the first one to confess." She asked. Dakota points towards you and she grins. "Money now." She says towards Dakota.

Dakota gives out a sigh and hands her a 5 dollar bill. "Wait you guys betted on me!" You say towards ash and Dakota. "Yeah! Dakota doubted me that you had a crush on him. So I bet him 5 bucks that you did!" Ash says putting her money in her pocket.

You then enter your class with Ash while biding Dakota goodbye. She then looks at you with a cheeky grin. "Tell me everything!"
