"You know what, fine Veronica. I accept your stupid bet." You say as you rub your forehead tired of this girl. She put her hand out. "Shake on it, the Smith never back down from there word." You take her hand and shake it, sealing the bet. "Don't even dare double-cross me, Alex. Therefore don't back down if I come out on top." She says cockily.

You give a smirk smile of your own. "Yeah if you can beat me." You say with confidence. She flips her hair back and starts to walk away. Before she does she say one last word. "Whatever you say loser, I got better places to go. Also good luck you need it."

When you enter your classroom you see Dakota just playing with his pencil trying to make some sort of beat. It not really working out for him, making him look like a little kid. You sit down next to him and he notices your presence.

"Sup Alex, what took you so long to get here?" He asked. You get your book out of your bag and set it on the desk. "Veronica challenged me to a bet.'" You say causally. Dakota eye light up hearing this. "Did you accept it?" You give out a sigh. "Yeah."

He slapped your back pretty hard and started to laugh. "You know whatever bet she does she usually plays dirty. You know that, right?" Dakota tells you.

You pinch your nose. You just realize she could've just used her money to pay the teacher to give her the answer sheet. Maybe that to **** and this time she plays honorable, well then again she is Veronica.

Dakota noticing your concern, "You alright Alex? Veronica can be a lot to deal with."
