"Who The Fuck Are You?"

The midget cocked an eyebrow up and seemed to stare at you for a second.

"I literally just told that my name is Looker. Are you deaf are something?"

You were about to give a witty comeback when you were rudely interrupted.

"Any way, I guess the three main things you want answered are, "Where you are right now right", "Why are you here", and "How did you get here". Am I right?"

You give a quick nod before Looker starts speaking again.

"Well to answer everything in quick succession. Your technically still asleep in your bed, only your soul is here right now, but most people can't really tell the difference to be honest. If you make it to end or die, you'll just wake up in bed. You'll feel any pain, pleasure, hanger, or dryness will basically be real for you. As a name for this place, let's call it the Great Endless Desert. It's simply what it is, so it is called so. Don't worry it's not all desert, just mostly desert. There are a bunch of places to explore, and some places that don't really find in a "natural dessert."" Looker gave a couple of air quotes to emphasize his point. "Have fun explore those places, since you will be seeing quite a few of them. That actually leads to next question, your actually here to fun and entertain me."

You wanted to interject at this point but a feminine finger was pushed up against your lips. Looking back at Looker, you only find a buxom brunette in a modest two piece flowery bikini, wide brim white sunhat, and shades pulled over her eyes.

Looker started talking again while taking sips from a martini glass that came from, somewhere. "I get bored easily, and I love to watch people grow over time as well as do ... other things." A sultry look crossed her face as she started to cross and uncross her legs. "You are here to go on an adventure for both of our entertainment. Of course, if you can reach the end of your adventure you will be rewarded of course. You get to keep any powers, abilities, and memories you collect in this world, even bring some people with you as well if you like."

Taking the chance at the momentary stop in the conversation you start to ask your own questions. "Alright how is any of this possible? Why am I here, and exactly, who the fuck are you? By that, explain how you can do all, this?" You started to shout, gesturing at the oasis around you.

With another slow sip of her martini, Looker smiled gently at you. "Simple, I am a god." She giggled at the somewhat annoyed look on your face. "I can basically do whatever I want in this world, and I can pluck out the souls of those in other worlds and bring them here for a while. Simple."

Dumbfounded, you try to process the existence of an actual god in front of you, one that brought you out of the world you knew and dropped you in this giant desert.

"Are there more like you? Like more gods?"

"Yeah sure there are. You'll probably even meet a couple in your journey. But I am head honcho here, so you can say that out of all the big deals, I am the biggest." She smiled rather smugly as she looked at you. "Anyway, before we go on, I have to ask?"
