The red-headed host flustered a bit, smoothing his suit, recovering with another thin-lipped and charming smile. "Well, Brendan, there are certain conventions to these shows... to say nothing about our viewers' expectations about love..."

Paul hesitated and lifted his hand, gesturing for the camera men to omit his next action. He leaned forward, brown eyes focusing in on Brendan. With a whisper he uttered, "That being said, if you care to try to rock the boat, far be it from me to stop you... I can't promise the outcome, though."
