"What are you studying in college here?"

"Business management, same as Erin."

Jess doesn't seem that interested in her major.

"You're a really good actress," you say, probing a little. "You had me totally fooled when we first met. Sure you don't want to be in acting or theatre or the arts?"

Jess smiles, pocketing your compliment and flipping her hair out of her face. She coyly brushes aside your kind words and makes a sour face instead.

"I mean, you're right, I'd kill it on a stage, but those theater kids have no life. There's not just classes, but rehearsals, clubs, private lessons... And for what? A one in a million shot at having 15 minutes of fame on day? An acting major would be too boring, and too much work!"

You note that Jess doesn't love her major, and probably is doing business just because that's what Erin majors in.

"Besides, art is for faggots and dykes."
