"We Need To Get You An Agent"

Debbi was still naive by the cynical standards of the LA world she had been plunged into but she wasn't a total innocent abroad. She had handled substantial budgets back at the company after all. So she knew enough not to immediately sign up to the contract Jerome had waved under her nose after the tryout with the three black studs. Hence the consultation she was now having with Saffron and Jody.

These two were delighted that Debbi had seen sense and was seriously considering signing the porn star deal. Debbi was herself already having second thoughts and sensing this, the other two quickly got down to specifics. "OK" Saffron began. "They want a deal for 12 movies over two years and a release for any stills and publicity photo-shoots. So far, so standard and the remuneration they're offering is at the top end of the scale for Jerome. I don't think they're trying to rip you off particularly, he knows the killing he could make." Debbi was more impressed than Saffron seemed to be with the sums mentioned. She was worried what people back in England would think but was it such a big jump from that SEXFLIX special she had already done ? And she'd raised so much for charity, was it so bad to make something for herself ?

"You want it made plain in the contract what you won't do" Saffron insisted. "I'll get my lawyer friend to write it up. No swallowing and no anal !" Debbi blushed that they were discussing it in such stark terms. "You're lucky. Jerome wouldn't normally let his stars dictate. So while we're at it, we'll ask for prior script approval too. Who knows, if you hone your acting skills you might get some bit parts in mainstream movies if they require nudity." Did Debbi want that ?

"The last thing we need to remind them is that Jody has trademarked the Miz No-E brand" said Saffron. "What ?" exclaimed Debbi. "Well, she is my entire creation" laughed Jody. "And who knows, there may still be a market for more Miz No-E songs if you're back in the spotlight !" "You should be proud of the mentoring job you've done on this young lady" Saffron told Debbi. "But I'm thinking that with all this, we really ought to get you both signed up to an agency."
