Chapter 4 by kingkhan19 kingkhan19

Where does Yuki take the tour group first?

"The primate exhibit."

"Primates, as some of you may know, are found mostly in the southern hemisphere." Yuki explained as she led her tour group. "Central and South America, Africa, Southeast Asia, China, and Japan being their main habitats. There are plenty of varieties, all with different characteristics and habits."

Yuki continued through her normal routine, explaining the different enclosures and the inhabitants within. The primates were honestly one of the more fascinating parts of the zoo for Yuki. Where most people saw wild animals, Yuki spent enough time around them to see how human their behavior could be at times. Hoping to spread this understanding, Yuki had started incorporating anecdotes into her tours, telling visitors of the times she'd personally witnessed surprisingly human behavior from different types of primates.

"One of our gorillas is a complete camera hog." Yuki explained with a smile. "If he sees a guest getting ready to take a picture, he'll make a big spectacle of himself, throw himself in front of the other apes, or all kinds of things."

Even though it was early in the morning, Yuki could tell that her stories were starting to get the guests' interest. This made the young woman ecstatic. If there was anything she loved about this job more than the animals, it was seeing her love of them rub off on the visitors. Perhaps she could drum up more enthusiasm with more than just stories.

Most of the primates were well behaved and well trained, and Yuki had undergone the lessons necessary to enter some of the enclosures herself. Perhaps it wouldn't hurt to slip into a cage and interact with some of the primates for the guests...
