Yuki decides to slip into the enclosure of a particularly playful group

Yuki quickly cleared her ideas with her coworkers stationed in the Primate Area, and walked into the enclosure of a few chimps she was sure could entertain her tour group. There were five young apes in the group. Three were grooming each other close to the window, another was swinging through the trees above, and another was lazing on a branch licking ants off of a stick. The chimps were given a small ant hill in their enclosure that they'd dip thin sticks into to get a snack, an effort by the zoo to replicate natural behaviors in captivity.

All 5 apes looked up at Yuki as she entered, crouching for a moment to pick up a soccer ball they let them play with. She waved to her audience on the other side of the enclosure, before underhand tossing the ball to a receptive looking chimp. This got them going, and the chimps started tossing and rolling the ball to each other. Yuki was happy to see the chimps playing, and even happier to see the zoo patrons enjoying the display.

Of course, in her excitement, Yuki failed to count that only 4 chimps were playing in front of her. The fifth, a particularly mischievous primate, was slowly lowering itself from a branch behind Yuki. Yuki gasped as suddenly...
