Before Vanessa has the chance to protest you've fully stripped her down from her scanty bra and knickers, fetched some rope, and hauled her off to the alleyway behind the tavern. It's a narrow passage, which is suitably deserted at the moment. Ditching Vanessa in the woods in the middle of nowhere seems comparatively dull, but here in an alley where anyone might chance upon her at any time is much more amusing.

Close to the tavern's back door you find a various stacks of supplycrates, and you proceed to haul Vanessa over a barrel - a literal barrel - with her ass in the air, and wrope her up nice and good so there's no way she'll escape any time soon without outside help. To complete the presentation (and stop her from casting any spells verbally once the anti-wizard powder wears off) you go out and fetch a ballgag from a naughty local store, and a scrap of cloth to use as blindfold.

Time resumes once again for Vanessa to start wurming and wriggling in alarm, unable to fight her bindings, her protests or pleas unintelligible except as a smothered noise. You give her pert buttocks a hefty little slap, eliciting a muffled yelp, as you walk back to the tavern.

"we'll be right back love"

Vanessa's noises ringing in your ears you zip back into the tavern and collect Evellyn from the booth, who has in the meantime been putting her clothes and armor back on, and bring her through the backdoor to the alley. As soon as Evellyn lays eyes upon Vanessa's squirming form, managing to do little but make the barrel shake just the tiniest amount, she has a one-word response:

"Nice"

"Glad you like it," you smirk.

Evellyn walks past Vanessa, patting her ass as she goes, and sits down on a nearby crate to think out loud.

"Okay... so I guess we have our next target. Go to the artificer, get them to tell us what they know about who ordered those smokebombs, and with any luck the chain won't be any longer and we find our culprit right then..."
