"Oh shit, dude, seems like you've had a rough day..." the clerk sympathized with Rachel's plight. "Did you have, like, a fire or something?"

Did the clerk really just call her "dude"? Even with her cooch out? Whatever, it's California, everyone's "dude".

"Well, it's a very long story," Rachel replied with whatever nonchalance, "but someone broke into my apartment and stole my clothes, and then I lost the clothes I had on." Meanwhile, Rachel noticed the female customers giving her hungry eyes and flirty smirks.

"That sucks, man," the employee said, "at least it's nice out. You could be in Canada freezing your ass off. Here, let's go back to a room so you don't have everyone staring at you, and get you something to wear. I think we have something that suits you, bro."

"Man"?? "Bro"?? Rachel fumed inside as she was led to a backroom, but was grateful for getting something proper to wear for the first time in a couple of hours.

The clerk quickly took her measurements, Rachel perking up a bit as she felt the hands and tape measure on her bare skin. "Here, let me come right back with something on the floor." After a few minutes, the employee came back and threw her some clothes. She looked and saw a blue T-shirt, gray gym shorts, boxers, black socks, and black ankle-high socks. Absent was a sports bra she would always wear, and these clothes were definitely for a guy!
