"Oh fuck no. I'm out"

"Oh fuck no. I'm out," Kat yelled as she stood up and stormed off towards the car, leaving the others staring at one another, confused. They followed her out, worried by the sudden panicked look on her face. "Kat? What's wrong?" Yuki asked as everyone caught up to her.

"These woods! There's something really fucked up going on here, and they got to Maddie & Hayley!" Kat shouted, frantically searching for the keys. "We have to get out of here NOW!!!"

"What got to us...? You're imagining things," Hayley said in a calming tone of voice. "You had a nightmare, that was it."

"That's right. Hayley & I spent all day reading and watching movies," Maddie added.

"Bullshit! You guys... and those two other women... you... we all..."

"Please, just calm down and listen," Hayley said, still looking to calm Kat down. "We were fucking with you a moment ago... obviously whatever you were dreaming of really freaked you out. We're sorry -- we didn't mean to scare you like that."

"But... the others... the ghost women..."

"Ghost women?" Sophia said, arching an eyebrow. Kat paused for a moment, and realized how her story sounded. Maybe it was all a really vivid dream.

"Look Kat, if you want, we can leave now. But I think you've been pushing yourself too hard lately, and you're overstressed -- it sounds like you drifted off and had a nightmare -- that's all," Sophia continued. "We'll do whatever you want, but if you come back inside, we'll finish our meal and get hammered and have a great time. I think if you relax and sleep on it, everything's going to look fine in the morning."

Kat thought about what Sophia said -- it made sense. She had been overworked lately, doing so much late night studying and writing papers, she'd completely neglected everything else. She hadn't realized how exhausted she was; perhaps, more than anything, she needed to relax. Maybe she was hallucinating. But everything in that dream had seemed so real...
