"Is That Debbi In The Photos ?"

Debbi didn't really know why she had bothered to retreat inside her office to put on the improvised bin bag dress, since everyone on that floor of the building had seen just about all that there was to see by now. It was just a kind of reflex action. She studied how good a job the bin bag was doing and to her chagrin, the answer was not a particularly good one. The length of it finished some inches above her knee and it seemed to ride up at the back. The arm holes that Carol had cut revealed quite a bit of side boob too. But since Carol seemed to no longer have any intention of collecting her clothes for her, it would have to do. Ignoring the further amused stares, she began to make her way out of the building.

Once outside in the elements, the flimsiness of her covering became more apparent. There was a strong, gusty wind that succeeded in exploiting all the weak spots of her 'dress'. To her consternation, the thin plastic was already beginning to tear around the arm holes and reveal ever larger amounts of bare flesh ! Although the laundry was only across the road, by the time that Debbi had made it inside she was barely able to clutch the disintegrating bag around herself. She cursed that there were a couple of middle aged women ahead of her in the queue, as she tried to avoid eye contact or conversation and to shield herself from the window out onto the street.

It was finally Debbi's turn to hand over the claim form. "You're in a bit of a state" remarked the store assistant. "There was an accident." Debbi had no intention of going into detail or trying to come up with some plausible explanation for her predicament. The shop assistant checked the claim form and handed over a bundle containing Debbi's blouse and underwear. Debbi was puzzled. "Where's my skirt ?" she asked. "No skirt on the list" the assistant replied, showing Debbi her records. "But there must be" Debbi responded. "But there isn't !" Realising the futility of continuing this back and forth, Debbi asked "Is there anywhere I can get dressed ?" The answer was in the negative.

The laundry assistant watched in amusement as Debbi pulled on her knickers under the bin bag, trying to show as little as possible. But while attempting to somehow thread her bra through the arm holes, the bag gave up the ghost entirely and split in two ! Hurriedly, Debbi fastened her bra and buttoned up her blouse. "Have you got a safety pin I can use to hold this bag together as a skirt ?" she asked forlornly.

Meanwhile back in the office, Kieron the acne ridden post boy had arrived to deliver the two full sets of prints to Carol. "Is that Debbi in the photos ?" the red faced youth asked eagerly. "Do you think they look like her ?" Carol replied, mischievously waving one of the prints at him. "It is her isn't it ?" he answered. "Of course it is. They're for her company medical" said Carol. "Wow" Kieron gasped. "Would you like me to get a few printed off for you ? " Carol offered. "Awesome" Kieron confirmed. Although Carol did not have team leader clearance, as the originator of the document she had full control of it. She brought up the file on her screen. "Which ones would you like ?" There could only be one answer. "All of them !" Kieron stammered eagerly.

Carol laughed. "That'd be too expensive and Derrick in the print room wouldn't go for it. Tell you what, give me your email address. I'll send you a zip file with them all in it and you can do what you like with them !" she suggested. "Brilliant. Cool " said Kieron. "Don't send them to all your friends though or post them on any of those dodgy internet sites " Carol cautioned but with a smile on her face. "Er, no, sure, of course not" stammered the delighted youth as he left. Carol grinned to herself. "Now, let's see. About business process requirement 2155.c !"
