"I want some closer help with the techniques."

"Oh, well...." Professor Phoebe looks over her shoulder at Miranda, and her sorry attempt at a proper stance. "Alright, since Lexi went to partner up with Cameron, I'll be able to help the two of you much more closely if you stay here without disrupting your classmates."

"O-oh...." Drat! You were hoping you'd be able to get her on her own -- now Miranda's going to be right here, and you're going to be in a completely open space. You probably should've seen that coming, honestly.....

"I'd thought you were picking up the techniques quite well, Debbie, but if you feel like you need some closer help then I'm happy to provide it."

"Y-yeah......"

The rest of the class goes slow. You pick up most of the techniques pretty fast anyway, though it's a bit slower since you don't have anybody to practice on -- Miranda's a lot of techniques behind you for the whole class, and Cameron's across the room working with Lexi. They look like they're having a lot of fun.....

Towards the end of class, your four classmates that are partnered up have learned all of today's techniques to Professor Phoebe's standard, and start doing some free sparring against each other to practice the moves some more. You're really bored, and most of the stuff you got taught this class has been forgotten by your pea brain, but maybe that brain isn't such a pea after all! Because you have a thought.

You look from side to side. Lexi and Cameron are playfighting to your left, and Delilah and Jace are realfighting to your right. Neither of them are looking at the middle of the gymnasium right now. I-if you're really, really quick to make Professor Phoebe spray all over, you might get away with only Miranda noticing..... but still, your fingers would have to work overtime, and even then you'd still have a classmate watching.......
