Chapter 16 by Ray Charles Ray Charles

"Please... Help..."

"I think..."

Denise tried to talk but often found herself speechless and was only able to talk after Sandra helped calm her down, which, to Billy, just seemed to be an excuse at least half of the time for Denise to hug Sandra, as he could see her contemplate where to place her hands sometimes.

After twenty minutes of going in a repetitive cycle, Billy finally managed to decipher what Denise was trying to tell him.

Essentially Denise has noticed that someone had been stalking her for a good couple of days now; at first she just thought someone was messing with her, as her friends tended to do that, but then she realized something serious was happening once someone started taking her spray cans, underwear, and many more things that were somehow more private.

What on God's green earth was more private than her underwear? Billy has absolutely no clue, but it didn't really matter either way, as there's no way he'd ever know what she considered more private than whatever got stolen besides her underwear.

After an hour and a half of going through every single one of the pictures she either took or had taken of her, Billy finally found someone constant, who seemed to be in every single picture for an entire year before noticing something was going on.

However, the bastard for some reason always had his face covered by something, almost like the world was helping him... or maybe there's some sort of power that makes it hard for people to be found through cameras.

But just as quickly as the thought came to mind, Billy ignored it, as there's no power that he knows of, at least, but after looking through everything, he realized that for some reason her stalker was dressed in gothic red and always favored wearing a hoodie.

They also seemed to only follow whenever Denise was in a public enough place that it'd be hard to find them unless you were looking for them.

"I can't really come up with anything else other than possibly going about as usual but having either me or one of my helpers following you around. If they don't show up in about three months, then something must have happened to them."

Of course Denise was very angry about this, as she didn't want to have anyone following her around for up to three months like some kind of stalker just to find some stalker that she didn't know about.

But with Sandra's help Denise was eventually willing to play ball, but only if Billy was the one who followed her around, as she didn't want someone she didn't know about stalking her like her actual stalker.

And if she had to admit it, she'd rather talk with someone with a connection to Sandra because it was not quite so open a secret that Denise felt something for Sandra; no one really knew if it was love, admiration, respect, or something else entirely.

The first stop for Denise was some underground bar where she would usually do something that she seemed very **** to do around Billy, probably because everyone knew he was a wannabe hero, so if he saw anything illegal, he'd most likely tell someone.

Billy, meanwhile, didn't really understand why everyone just assumed he'd do something like that... I mean, they're completely right; he would do something like that BUT only when he felt like it would do more harm than any good that could possibly come from it.

For three weeks straight Billy would spend his waking moments helping out Denise; while he slept, he'd help Terri, Mary, Sophie, and Sandra with whatever problems that their minds could come up with, while every so often changing out Sandra with Denise.

Billy thought Sandra's mind was messed up, but everything inside Denise was just every street kid upbringing shown in movies and shows he's ever seen, with the only thing he's been doing inside her mind being scrubbing away some graffiti that was covering up whatever Denise really felt.

For the entire three weeks Billy was scrubbing off graffiti for what were Denise's "Hidden" desires. With a massive restaurant board taking up the entire right side of a door, apparently Billy wasn't going anywhere till he got to cleaning if the bucket and sponge were any indicator.

It took far too long to scrub off the graffiti word "Respect." That was made up of smaller respects that took forever to clean, and when he finished, there was a flash of light revealing a new word: "Friendship." So after letting out a groan of frustration and anger, Billy went right back to scrubbing, and when he finished, a third word appeared: "Denial." Appearing and resigning himself to his fate, Billy went back to work.

"Why the heck does it take an entire week to get rid of one damn word!" Billy mumbled to himself angrily as he finished off "Denial," and underneath was a very girly cursive Sandra in pink glittering ink that seemed to be Denise trying to repress her own girly side along with her love for Sandra.

None of that really mattered, however, as it was now the end of Billy and Denise's friendship, as with his enhanced senses, Billy, from the corner of his eye, saw the stalker in her black-and-red-petaled hoodie slowly walking into the building and took a seat far enough to the side that it wouldn't be obvious she was watching Denise.

Billy grabs Denise's hand, which weirds her out at first, but after he gently caresses the top of her hand, she understands what's going on, as it was the signal to let her know that her stalker had finally appeared.

Not wanting to cause a scene along with risking the chance of the stalker running away if he were to confront them head-on, Billy suddenly jolted up and slammed his hands on the table and screamed the last word of their very real argument over Sandra's cutest points.

"She's cutest when she fails and tries to play it off like she meant to do it without a chance of anyone believing it to be true!" Billy screamed before angrily walking away from the table towards the bathrooms that he has never once attempted to go near, as it was where all the druggies hung out.

With his enhanced speed, Billy made some quick bursts from each group of dancers as he slowly made his way towards the seats as he tried his best not to touch anyone there, as over the weeks he's been here, he's seen some things going on at the dance floor that if he wasn't on a mission, he'd never touch again for the rest of his life.

By the time Billy made it to the stalker, Billy could hear his high-pitched voice breathing quickly, yet calmly, as he chanted something. "Okay, you can do this… Just breathe. She's a normal girl just like anyone else…" Sliding next to them, Billy quickly draped his arm around theirs as he firmly placed his hand onto their shoulder, forcing them down every time they tried to get up.

"I think there are better ways to get a girl than stalking." Billy said as calmly as possible as he stuck out two fingers and signed for Denise to come over, which she shyly yet quickly did, as she wanted answers as to who the guy following her around like a creep truly was, along with why her of all people!

As Denise made her way over and the stalker kept trying to get away, Billy was shocked by just how weak the stalker was, as he's gone from using all his strength to barely anything, as he's practically just hanging his arm around them at this point and they still can't get up.

When Denise finally arrived, she looked at her stalker with anger and fear, and for a split second Billy could swear lust, like she was for a second getting off on the idea of someone going after her, but as she didn't really know the person, her fear was greater than possibly her desires.

For some reason she looked around as Billy realized a few people were watching them, and wanting to keep things private, she subtly pointed toward the "fire exit" with her thumb, and Billy just nodded as he grabbed the stalker with both arms and made them walk.

The "fire exit" wasn't anything more than a way for everyone to quickly leave if the party gets the police called, which was why it was more of a fuze exit than whatever the sign tried to call it.

Trying their hardest to not get any more attention than they already got, Billy realized it was all useless as everyone quickly lost interest in whatever they were doing as they went back to doing whatever depraved things the club allowed.

Once outside, Billy quickly pinned the stalker to the wall as he slammed his hand on the wall, causing them to shake even more than they already were, which made Billy feel guilty for a second before he remembered he was dealing with a stalker and got right back into the zone.

"TALK! Why were you following Denise for an entire year!?" Billy yelled as calmly as possible as he got a good look at the stalker's face, which was covered up by black glasses with a red tint and a black mask with a red rose print on the right side of her mouth.

"Yeah! Why were you following me everywhere I went!? Especially when there are so many better-looking people to stalk than me!" Denise said while making sure to hide behind Billy, as she was still scared, while also rubbing up against Billy whenever she made her point.

"Eat you..." The high-pitched weirdo said with a nervousness coming from her voice that didn't go past the duo. But as curious as they were about why he wanted to eat Denise and his high-pitched voice, the duo weren't going to let the stalker go without telling them everything they planned to do with Denise besides eating them, apparently.

Seeing the confusion in their faces and probably realizing what he said, the stalker began violently shaking their head before clearing their throat as they pulled down their mask, revealing their very distractingly pretty lips that made the duo wonder just how the heck someone gets lips as pretty as theirs?

But just some pretty lips weren't enough to distract them for long, as they got back in detective gear and focused once more on the stalker as they talked with a clear nervousness. "For… for the longest time I've wanted to meet you again!"

Quickly taking off their sunglasses, revealing sparkling silver eyes that were probably sparkling with anticipation and desire for Denise to remember him, along with just the general sparkle his eyes seemed to have.

At first Denise was just disgusted with some weirdo wanting her to remember them. But then something seemed to click as Denise tilted her head and suddenly shouted. "Ruby!?" Billy thought it was strange for a guy's name but didn't say anything and let Denise keep at it. "What the heck are you doing here? And why the heck are you stalking me!?"

"Because…" Ruby took a deep breath as he began to calm himself as he steeled his nerves and continued talking. "Ever since you saved me, I've always wanted to be just like you!" Finishing what he had to say, the weird man zipped open his hoodie, revealing the gayest or campiest gothic outfit Billy's ever seen.

Billy started at the legs and saw some flat-top boots holding fishnet leggings, then a red and black booty short, fishnet gloves, and then some random shirt they got from Hot Topic. with the finishing touch being a butterfly choker collar.

Seeing that Billy seemed to be missing something, along with the look of confusion on Denise's face as she recalled what Ruby used to look like in the past, and Ruby seemed to want Denise and, by extension, Billy to see everything about her as they picked up her shirt, revealing her very pale and cute breasts were pierced.

Billy and Denise are very shocked at first, with Billy at how brazen she was about revealing herself, while Denise was shocked that Billy was guessing someone so innocent in the past had gotten her nipples pierced, with Denise hoping this was the only place she got pierced.

"Why'd you take my things?" Denise asked, which just shocked Ruby, as she was willing to admit to the stalking, as for over an entire year she was constantly trying to build up the courage to reintroduce herself to her hero but failed, as she was so nervous about what Denise might think of her present self.

Suddenly Denise got a phone call, and she stepped away for a moment, and it seemed to be something pretty serious, and once her call was over, Denise slowly walked over and slumped her head onto Billy's shoulder.

"Apparently one of the girls in my group wanted to mess with me and took all my things and tried to pin some prank on me but failed to realize that as she was trying to do everything today, she was being watched by a security guard."

Denise just groans as she hugs Billy's back, while Ruby, with her tits still out for some reason, did the same and sandwiched Billy, which anyone else might have liked, but Billy was annoyed they were using him as a barrier since things were too awkward for the girls to hug normally.

"Look, I helped you out because I wanted to, and I would never hate it if you came up to me normally. Just try to be yourself, and anyone who doesn't like you, tell them to go fuck themselves and walk away."

Ruby quickly jumps away towards her hoodie that she dropped on the floor when she revealed her tits to them earlier and pulls out a handheld notebook that has Denise's name and many sticky note tabs.

While Ruby was writing, Denise gave Billy a kiss on the cheek as she moved her own shirt up as her bare chest was resting on Billy's back. "Take this as a thank you, and your payment is the honor of my group being friendly with you, if you know what I mean."

Denise playfully bites Billy's ear as, without even looking, he moved his hand behind him and squeezed Denise's fine booty and whispered. "Take that as my own thanks, and if you keep this up, the real payment can be me letting your group off the hook for some things."

Denise giggled as she moved away as her tank top rolled back to its normal position just as Ruby turned back to them and tearfully said goodbye to her friend, only for the next day to reveal that she was a transfer student to their school but in Stephanie's grade.

Which made her very angry as she huffed and puffed, but Ms. Larson didn't care, as she was too young and didn't have any credits, nor was she smart enough to join the seniors for their final year.

Billy was just annoyed by all of this, as Billy hasn't had a moment to relieve himself, and with his sisters and Denise both teasing him either on purpose or by "accident," Billy was very much looking forward to his day off...

Or so he would have liked if not for the fact the people he was helping arrived at his house for their first assignment, which was way overdue, but as Billy was working, he had to push it back later and later, and now he couldn't push back anymore.
