"Really?!" Zephra said. I wasn't sure about this but whatever she had to say we could at least do her the honor of listening to the story she had to tell.

Alistair gave me a look of concern. I don't think he saw what I saw yet but I pull him aside and whisper do that we don't have any unwanted listeners. "Listen if what she says is bull, we'll just not take the job. And if it's just a rouse, we have our escape plans so no real harm."

"I don't know..seems too good to be true.."He said unconvinced about it.

"Look, do you trust me?"

"Of course I trust you. It's the unknown I don't" he said makeing a fair point. We didn't know this lady and The Church has had a history of not being the most trustworthy of people.

"I saw it in her eyes. She was chosen and is saying that The Church isn't what it's supposed to be like. If you don't trust her, trust me to get us out of the mess if it goes south. Ok?"
