What's next?
Vampire Love Lost, Act 2
{if tempAlpha = true}"Ah, I don't think we'll see them get together for good, there's just no way that they would have the stand-in for the antagonist be redeemed like that; it would simply rile up too many people in a negative way." "With that said, there is a possibility that we'll see a seduction scene; a lot of wrights like to have a scene between the loser of a love triangle and one, or even both individually, of the two winners in said triangle." What, you mean the actors are just going to have sex on stage? "I mean, it's not like children are even allowed in the theater. But whether seduction becomes explicit or remains implicit really just depends on whether or not the actor or actress has agreed to have sex as part of a scene. Although, pregnancy risks do mean that it's much more common for actresses to be willing to have sex with other actresses than with actors."{elseif tempBeta = true}"Yep, the only question becomes how it's going to get to that point. Might see a seduction or two along the way anywhere within the triangle, but once you've figured out the meta, it becomes a lot less climactic."{elseif tempGamma = true}"Hmmm, I like the way you think. Totally not happening, but a redemption arc would be quite nice. Sadly, that would leave the paladin as the most fleshed-out character, and they're not going to abandon the vampire cleric like that."{else}Apologies, but this paragraph doesn't work very well outside of game mode. Below is an excerpt from the sapphic love answer though:
"With that said, there is a possibility that we'll see a seduction scene; a lot of wrights like to have a scene between the loser of a love triangle and one, or even both individually, of the two winners in said triangle." What, you mean the actors are just going to have sex on stage? "I mean, it's not like children are even allowed in the theater. But whether seduction becomes explicit or remains implicit really just depends on whether or not the actor or actress has agreed to have sex as part of a scene."{endif}
The two of you reach the theater doors once more, and retake your seats. There's only a few minutes before the lights re-dim and the mysterious voice from the sky resumes talking, "One week after, and with slight laughter; the planning progress, the knight behest. And though there be flirtatious banter, no moves so major are done ante 'ere." You notice out of the corner of your eye that Irina looks slightly annoyed, muttering something under her breath; but you do manage to catch "lazy rhyme." "Okay, but I don't suppose you can think of a better one." She stays silent for a moment before sighing, and focusing intently on the stage. Point conceded, you suppose? Then you proceed to resume paying attention to the stage yourself.
The scene before you is set at day, evidenced by the wooden sun in the sky. In center of the stage are Ilias and Julian, the brother of the cleric and the squire of the paladin respectively; the paladin is nowhere to be seen.
"By continuing to pursue my sister, your master continues to sully her honor. Imagine, a vampire aiding an enemy of the queen!" He draws his weapon, and is met in turn by Julian's blade. "He does nothing of the sort! And she is always free to spurn his advances!" "Again with this talk of freedom!? There is naught such as that, any you claim is but illusion." Their blades clash once more, eliciting a loud clang as steel meets steel.
As you watch their banter and blade, you do note something significant: Ilias is no longer at a marked disadvantage against Julian; had he been training in the week that allegedly passed? After a few minutes of exchange of weapon and wit (albeit wit is relative in Julian's case), you see someone running from the left of the stage. You turn your eyes and see the paladin, rushing towards the duo.
"Julian, what have I said about not trying to slaughter the locals?" He slams his shield in between the two combatants, effectively halting the fight for the time.
A few moments later, Julian has calmed down; "apologies Lord Octavian; I'm not sure what came over me." "Very well, we'll discuss this later. As for you," he looks to Ilias, "would you mind telling me why you still have your weapon drawn? I'll remind you that Julian is but my squire, and so has but a fraction of my training." Ilias glares at Octavian, but nevertheless sheaths his weapon and proceeds to exit to the right.
Once Ilias is out of view, knight and squire begin discussing quietly to theirselves; shortly into this, the cleric walks into view, and Octavian notices. "We will need to resume this at a later hour, Ilias, for the one with skin as the meeting of night and day has arrived." Octavian approaches her, "and what is thine beauty, Comana, but one which is unparalleled, for you are as the morning dawn. Should you sway to my side, surely it would be a sign of the turning of fates, surely as if Janus himself were to act." You see Comana briefly blush before realizing: you're not entirely certain that the actress was supposed to blush at this point — but regardless, she's already regained her composure by the time you reobtain your attention.
"Octavian, you're persistent as ever, I see." "And why shouldn't I be when your beauty is clearer than the ground we walk?" Comana releases a sigh, "very well, I suppose a single dinner won't hurt." "Shall I retrieve you from your home on the morrow, then?" "I don't believe I have any duties that night, so" "On the morrow then. I must away to make preparations."
He walks back to his squire, "Julian, please contact tonight the restaurant on the east bank near the shore and inform them of a reservation for two for tomorrow night." "Very well, my lord." All three part from the stage, and the lights dim.
When the lights come back, the moon has replaced the sun and Octavian is standing in front of the tavern. From the right walks Princess Soara, scantily clad and approaching Octavian, "ah, there's my favorite invader." "And what want you, fiend?" "Oh, I'm hurt. I'm not a fiend, I'm a vampire." "There is but little difference to me." The princess sighs at Octavian's response, "yes I suppose one with your learning wouldn't know much about the planes, now would he?" "You know what I bet he would know?" He stands there, refusing to respond. "What to do with a woman." "I have eyes for none but Comana." "Oh? That's too bad. I suppose I'll have to spend the night alone, then," she slips her scant covering off, now standing bare before both him and audience. He stands there stunned for half a minute before speaking, "I suppose you won't necessarily need to spend the night in solitude." She brings her finger to his chin and raises it towards his head, "good boy." And with that, she leads him off the stage, the gloworbs becoming dimmed once again.
When the lights come back on, the sun is back, the temple being stood in front of by Comana, who seems unusually cheerful. Octavian enters from the left, head hung low. Looking over to him, she voices as he approaches, "Octavian, whatever seems to be the matter? You look far more forlorn than would to be expected for someone who just succeeded in getting his interest to agree to dinner." "Comana, beautiful being, it is with much regret that I must cancel our evening, for I have sullied my honor, and am no longer worthy of you." With that, he turns around and quickly walks to the left before Comana can respond.
"Oh why has Lachesis abandoned the cleric of her sister? Would that I had not relented to Octavian and so not realize my love for him; for it seems a cruel weave to have me realize so just as my opportunity runs out. Better to have not loved and have blissful ignorance than to have loved in vain." As Comana's speech fades into sobbing, so too do the lights fade.
When the lights come back, Comana is still in front of the temple, the sun having been replaced by the moon; from the right of the stage comes the princess. "What's wrong, young priestess? You look as if the moon itself had forsaken you." A gasp comes from Comana, but she stifles her emotions, holding steady. The princess takes her into a hug, "there there. Feel free to let it all out;" Comana bursts into tears, burying her face into the princess's arm as the princess seats them down at the planning table, shifting Comana's head onto her shoulder. After Comana calms down a bit, the princess lifts her chin, "now, what seems to be the problem?" "Oh, it's terrible, Octavian canceled his dinner with me!" "Oh, is that what it is? You're far too beautiful a woman to be crying over some manipulative man, Comana." Comana blushes slightly in response. "Now, dear, perhaps you would like to reconsider my offer. Become my consort and I could show you the world. Once the queen is dead, you would be my right-hand woman." "You know what, sure; I-" but Comana is cut off as the princess draws her in for a kiss; Comana absolutely melts into the kiss.
"Come now, let me show you how a woman can feel, the depths of her pleasure." Comana nods slightly, and the princess starts to undress her. Once Comana is unsheathed from her clothes, the princess's head goes south, mouth pressed to the cleric's nethers, as a hand goes to her breast.
Well, now that it's evident that the actresses are going to have sex on stage, the question becomes: do you watch?
