"I Didn't Recognize You With Your Clothes On !"

Having touched up her makeup, brushed her hair and fully dressed in her smart business attire, Debbi felt like Debbi again as she drew a deep breath and opened the door to the board room for the celebration lunch. Her attempted show of confidence immediately floundered, however, when she was confronted with a big screen rerun of her spanking being played for the benefit of the gathered assembly of executives and customer reps. "Ah, here's our birthday girl" cried Eamon Gillespie before she could react. "I didn't recognize you with your clothes on" he added lamely as everyone dutifully laughed.

Debbi felt herself blushing but that was something over which she had no control. She hadn't known the event was being streamed and hearing accounts of how positively it had been received by the staff at the various customer offices did nothing to make her feel any better. She had hoped the screen would go blank once her full frontal bow with Eamon had been shown but Diane had the broadcast playing on a loop, albeit on mute.

Debbi didn't know whether or not to be gratified that she was seated on the table with Eamon, Jeff and the current company MD. She might have preferred quiet anonymity. "So, I understand you're going to be partaking in these team building events throughout the year. What have you got lined up for us in February ?" asked Eamon. "I, er, um" said Debbi. "Actually it's Diane that is the driving **** behind all this" interrupted Jeff, anxious that credit be given where credit was due. "She comes up with the concept and handles all the logistics. Debbi here only gets involved at the last minute" he emphasized. "Ah yes, the lovely Diane, such an asset" affirmed the MD. "Well whatever the case, I shall now be looking forward to receiving the boring old company mag each month this year. Much more than hitherto, I may even read it" laughed Eamon.
