"I Can't Believe It."

I walk up to the girls and see them sitting on a branch. The water around them has cleared out a circle and they've piled up some dry branches.

"Eric, we thought we should eat some of that fish while we wait for the collection teams to arrive." Hino says. "Oh, a collection team is a group of 5 who come into cleared Dungeons and harvest the resources from them." I nod and grab some Fishman meat from my inventory. I grab a couple sticks and put the fish on its end. I cast Flare on the pile of branches and it ignites. I put the sticks in the ground with the meat over the flame.

"Thank you Eric!" Myla says sitting on my left, a few inches away. "I wouldn't be in any condition to stand if you hadn't helped with that last hit I took. What kind of spell was that anyway?" Myla asks.

"You welcome. And it was three spells, two were healing and one was a shield." I tell her. "Oh yeah, what are we doing with the Hydras drops?" I ask them.

"They're yours." Hino states and Myla nods in agreement. Before I can ask she starts explaining. "We wouldn't have been able to beat it without you, plus you did way more damage than us." Myla laughs.

"Yeah, when I saw the damage numbers appear after your first attack I had to pause and reread it." She says smiling. I look into my inventory and see what I got from the Hydra.

Fishman's Spear Lvl 15, Rare

This spear is designed by Fishman and made of wood. Its blade is made of razor sharp teeth stuck with adhesives. It's durable and sturdy and gives the wielder space between their targets. Deals 40-60 melee damage.

Hydras Heart Epic Enchanting Item

This heart was taken from a Mini Hydra, sometimes referred to as a baby Hydra. The heart contains the power of the Hydra and can be Enchanted onto an item imbuing it with its power. Enchanting requires a workshop and proper equipment otherwise it will fail.

"So what'd you get?" Hino asks seeing the smile on my face.

"Two things. The first is a spear, but I'm more used to swords, although it's not bad. The second is a Hydra Heart. I can Enchant it onto something to have it gain the Mini Hydras power." I answer, checking on the food.

"That's good, by the way Eric. Why didn't you use the sword Hinos father gave you?" Myla asks suspiciously.

"Oh, I don't have the requirements for it. I need a Divines Favor, but I don't know what that is either." I explain, hoping they'll tell me what it is.

"Oh right, I'm so sorry!" Hino exclaims. "The reason mine and Mylas families hair is the color they are is because our bloodline has a Divine Favor. Essentially our families were given power by a Divine to do something and/or protect others. We've had ours for hundreds of years so we forgot that sword required a Divines Favor. As for how to get it, I don't know. Everyone who has one gets it in a dream where the Divine talks to you and gives you their Favor." She finishes and I nod along. "When we get back I'll tell my father and we'll get you something you can use."

"Thanks, and do you think you can get me anything blacksmith related? Except a hammer, I have one of those." I say pulling the meats off the fire. She nods and says she'll ask. While waiting for them to cool off, they contact there parents to send the collections teams. I use this time to check my notifications.

Dark Claws now add 25% of your Intelligence as Strength and extend to your elbows.

Cooking Lvl 2

Cooking now makes you create better tasting food and increases their regenerative bonuses (Skill Lvl × 10).

Level Up! You're now Level 12, +10 max HP and MP, +6 Skill Points.

I see I have 31 skill points and dump 3 in Wisdom, 2 in Intelligence, 5 in Strength and 16 in Luck leaving me with 5 skill points left.

The girls sit back down and we eat the meat while waiting for the teams.
