"I'm A Serious Business Woman"

"Look, you're all over the celebrity blogs" enthused Avalon. "Miz No-E leaves nothing to the imagination as she bares all on the red carpet !" She showed Debbi the screen. Debbi cringed as she scrolled through the 16 photos showing her from all angles as she posed in the transparent gown. "So what ?" she groaned. "It's not as if I'm going to make a career out of this. My sabbatical's nearly over and I've got to get back to the company or Jeff's going to go mad."

The four of them were at a late breakfast the morning after the party following the premiere of Dolla's tour movie. "Oh for goodness sake !" exclaimed Jody. "Not the old 'I'm a serious business woman' routine again ? How can you think of going back to that boring company after how the last couple of months have been ?" In truth, the thought of returning to her old job did hold less attraction for Debbi than it had done a few weeks ago. But she was a realist. She knew that her novelty rap act had a very limited shelf life that had been more or less exhausted. The industry insider Saffron agreed when Debbi offered this opinion. Even Avalon recognized that this was probably the case and only Jody was pushing for another shot at the old Miz No-E shtick.

"It's a pity not to use this positive buzz though" said Avalon. "What about Only Fans ?" she suggested. "Only what ?" replied Debbi. "It's a subscription thing. You post sexy pics of yourself and punters pay you" Avalon explained. "So they can have a wank over them" Jody interrupted. Ignoring her, Avalon continued. "One of my old clients was an actress in a soap and now she makes a killing out of it."

"Sounds a bit sleazy" objected Debbi, put off by Jody's interjection. "You don't have to go as far as some do with how explicit the photos are" said Saffron. "You can ride on this current Miz No-E notoriety for a while at least." Debbi remained dubious about the financial viability. "What about porn ?" Jody's question was met with an awkward silence !
