Your parents nod along with you and comments in. "You should invite Ash for dinner sometimes. Wait do you have a crush on he-" "Dad!" You say stopping him before he can finish.

Your face red, you can't tell you embarrassed or flustered. Your dad reading the mood coughs.

"Alex finish your food and make sure you clean your plate when you're done." He says chiming in.

You and your family then continue to have a normal conversation. Then you clean your plate and finish up. Before you can head into your room your dad kissed your cheek. "Goodnight Alex." He says while yawning while walking into his room.
