"Cuddle with me tonight."

Laura blinked at him and pursed her lips for just a moment. There was a quality about her son's gaze that made her hesitate, but eventually, she agreed. "I... would love that," she said with a small smile. "Let me get ready for bed. I got the sheets changed, so they're clean and smell fresh."

"Scooch over, you're getting the wall tonight," Laura called as she came out of the bathroom, wearing two shirts.

"Okay," Dan laughed. "I offered the first night."

"Hush," Laura smiled as she gently got onto the bed. The added weight of the second person on the air mattress sagged everything toward the center.

"You okay?" Dan asked a few seconds later.

"Uh... yeah," Laura muttered. "I forgot to get the light," she sheepishly answered.

"I'll get it, just get comfortable."

Dan made his way back in near darkness to the mattress and slipped in beside his mother. She sighed a little when he scooted in, being the big spoon to her little spoon.

"That feels nice," Laura muttered with a small sigh. "Here, put your arm around my stomach."

Laura positioned Dan's hand where she wanted. She fought back a sigh of relief. It was an amazing feeling, to have a warm body to cuddle up with.

"Does that work for you?" Laura asked hesitantly.

"Yeah, why? I was just thinking of the body pillow you got me as a kid. This is so much better."

Laura laughed and smiled. "I'd imagine it is," she said. "Just keep your hands and other things where they should be," she warned.

Dan was quiet for a time. "I... will try," he hedged.

Laura snorted, thinking of most men's wandering hands if they were in her son's position. "Dan?" she asked a while later.

"Mhm?" he mumbled.

"I... I need to get this shirt off. It's... well, it's getting a little hot," she hesitantly said.

"Oh, okay."

"Uh, close your eyes," Laura whispered. "I... well..."

"No problem."

Laura sat up and fiddled with her shirts. Sliding her arms under both shirts, she worked her arms under the outer layer so she could pull the inner layer up and over her head. She did it too quickly and her heavy breasts slapped against her sound. It was loud in the silent apartment. She could hear Dan's breathing increase. She froze. Without another word, Laura laid back down away from him and pulled up the sheets again.

"Are you okay?" Laura asked, wondering if Dan realized how heavily he was breathing.

"Are you okay?" Laura asked again.

"Oh, yeah, do I open my eyes now?"

"...yes," Laura answered. She knew he'd had his eyes open. "You can put your arm back now," she muttered. In for a penny, in for a pound. Her body craved the touch of a man.

Dan shifted around, trying not to poke her with his boner. If she ever needed confirmation that he'd watched her, then she had hard... throbbing... proof. She shivered. "It's... fine," Laura sighed. She just wanted his hands on her. "Just don't poke me too much," she half complained, half secretly hoped. She felt terrible, but her body was demanding something her brain refused to acknowledge.
