"Cat"

"Cat?" Seth flipped the paper in case there was more information on the other side. "What the hell could..." he burst out in laughter as he looked up at Scarlett, who was grasping at a collar that had appeared around her neck with at her long black nails.

"What the fuck are they into?!" She said, still scratching at it. "They're kinkier than us!"

Seth had to sit down on the bed to contain himself, waving his hand at the mirror.

She walked over to it and gasped - her head was adorned with two black cat ears and the tip of her nose was now black. She stomped back to him and pointed a sharp nail at him. "This is YOUR fault! Why would you let me eat that thing?!"

Seth replied smugly, "I did no such thing! You blasted me away! It hurt my back!" He backed up from her as she tried to strangle him, but was confused when she stopped short for some reason.

"Oh!" She rubbed her ass through her pants. "Ow!" She tugged at them, her long nails obstructing her ability, until she gave up and cast a quick enchantment to turn it into a loose, short skirt. She looked down at her black tail as it moved behind her.

An idea occurred to Seth - he stepped towards the open chest and scooped a few more assorted candies into his pocket during the commotion.

She tried to tug at it and yelped.. "it's ... so that's what plugs feel like! Ow!"

"This is the funniest thing I've ever seen!" Seth was still giggling at his dominatrix friend's predicament. "We've gotten her address, learned nothing about her magic shield, or whatever it is she's using to be undetectable, and you've gone half cat, so let's call this mission a success and get out of here before you go into heat."

She glared at him, yet agreed. They re-assembled the room, locked it and headed for the elevator.

Seth alighted to the lobby first and waited for Scarlett. He looked back for her but was surprised to not see her. He leant back into the elevator car and looked around, confused.

"Argh. I'm down here."

He tried not to laugh, out of sympathy, and stepped back into the car with the girl on all fours. He closed the door behind him and bent down to address her, but couldn't find any words. He'd never seen the girl blush before. He stood back up and fought back laughter. "We have to..."

"Come on, let's get it over with. Before anything else happens." She padded towards the doors, still on all fours, and realised she couldn't press the 'open' button. She looked up at him expectantly.

He let her out into the lobby expecting a commotion, but nobody seemed to show any interest. As they passed through the lobby, they started to wonder if she was invisible, but they were proven wrong. The group of college girls from the beach came into the lobby from outside and immediately ran at her and started petting her.

One looked up to Seth and asked, "She's so cute! You took your cat on holiday?"

He just nodded, figuring non-magics can just see a cat with him. Scarlett got to the same conclusion, although was distracted by the effort needed to resist the urge to throw a fireball at them. As they left the lobby Seth heard a scream, and looked back to find the college girl who had petted her the most holding her shredded top in her hands.

"AGAIN?!"

"Bad girl," he slapped his friend on the ass, laughing to himself.

"I can do worse to m-you," she glared up at him. Her victory over the college girl felt hollow, considering she was still the one on the floor.

They made their way to the parking lot, and found a nice car to leave in. Seth picked the lock with an easy spell and opened the trunk for Scarlett to jump in. As they left the parking lot onto the road, Seth tried to focus on the driving despite Scarlett's fidgeting.

Seth found Hugo where they'd planned to meet - the same balcony he'd been arrested on days prior.

"Ah.."

"Where's Scarlett?"

"There's something you should see - she's waiting in the car."

They made their way down and Seth gestured to Hugo to look through the trunk window. He saw Scarlett crawling around in the back of the SUV in her short skirt, with her cat-like tail, ears and facial features. He looked up at Seth and down to Scarlett again.

"What the hell happened?"

"So the couple are interesting. They have these candies..." he showed Hugo a handful of them from his pocket. "And," he pointed into the car, "Scarlett decided to eat one."

"What was she thinking?"

"I think they have some kind of endearment enchantment that affects women - we're fine holding them, but it got past all of her defences, as you can, um, see."

"Okay. Let's get her to your partner," he patted Seth's shoulder. "You can tell me what you found on the way."

"You know she doesn't like to get tangled up in our hobby.." Seth began.

"We can take her to a vet if you prefer."

Seth groaned in response as he got into the driver's seat.

Seth explained what they'd discovered in the hotel room to Hugo. Hugo was disappointed to hear that they hadn't found anything to explain how he'd confused her for a non-magic, but was happy to hear that they'd found the couple's address, so they can inflict more mischief. Meanwhile, Scarlett padded around the back of the car, getting frustrated with her situation.
