Seth's Partner's Workshop

Lucie sprayed her tea into the air when she saw Scarlett crawl in behind them. "What on Earth happened to you?!"

Scarlett knelt there, unimpressed, a stark contrast to the homely mousey blonde standing over her in her thick woolly jumper. They stood in a garage-sized room under Seth and Lucie's house. Every wall of the dimly lit room was covered with wooden shelves with all kinds of glowing and moving contraptions and objects that Lucie was working on. Much like James, she made a living by making or fixing magical items.

"You finally got a taste of your own medicine," Lucie laughed down at Scarlett.

Scarlett tried to talk back to her, but only managed to do an angry hiss up at her.

"Feisty." Lucie looked at the others and asked. "What happened?!"

Seth smiled to himself and explained the story. He held one of the candies up at Lucie, who immediately recognised them and sprinted across the room. Scarlett's nose twitched.

Lucie yelled, "Yup that shit's dangerous - put it away!"

She came back and took out a watchmarkers' monocle. "Okay, hold still, let's take a look," she said as she bent down to look at Scarlett more closely. She made thoughtful noises for a bit.

"Okay. I have good news and bad news," Lucie announced.

They gathered around her.

"The good news is that it's simple enough to reverse, and goes away by itself. Plus only magicians can even tell she's not a cat. I have to admire the mastery - whoever did this was really talented. The way the enchantment evades reversal like that shows they really wanted it to stick..."

Hugo interrupted, "The bad news?! How does she reverse it?"

"Oh, it's simple. She just needs to get someone off. One good orgasm and you're free!"

Scarlett growled, displeased. 'When I get my hands on the person who made this, I'm going to kill them,' she thought to herself. 'I don't _get people off_ - they get _me_ off!'

They heard none of this.

"How's she meant to get someone off if everyone thinks she's a cat?!"

"Yeah, that is a problem," Lucie agreed. "She'll need to find a magician, so they can see her, and persuade them using ... non-verbal cues. Plus her ... tastes."

They looked at her for a moment.

"Don't get any ideas! I might be a woman but I'm in a relationship, and not into women!"

Scarlett let out a huge meow and stormed out. Hugo thanked Lucie for her help and chased after her. Seth and Lucie chuckled as they closed their front door behind them.
