"Are you pregnant?"

Well no more salads and sides for me April thought looking down at her waist while she did look cute her blouse was bulging out a little bit, if I was a kid in high school I might make this mistake as well. Undeterred by the somewhat rude question April chose to make it a teachable moment. Sucking in her gut a bit so it wasn't poking over the hem of her cherry pink skirt "That's a very good and interesting question class" April smiled she approached Cassie the student that had suggested she might be with child while not the best or brightest of students she was at least quick to ask questions regardless of how rude they might be. April placed a hand on the desk hoping to catch the student's eye, it's not fishing for compliments if people just happen to notice how good I look with this ring she thought . "Now we all know how girls get pregnant right?" she asked to a sea of nods and several yeses at least everyone was paying attention. "We discussed some of the dangers of sex like STIs but we can also discuss what for most is the joys of sex. Pregnancy. To answer your question no I am not pregnant." she answered turning to Cassie from this close she could see her somewhat slim maybe even taut tummy and tell there wasn't a bun in the oven.

April continued"Whenever someone does become pregnant as many of you probably notice their body goes through a whole host of changes, their hips widen to make way for the baby they have to push out, their breasts" she paused for the scheduled snickering at the mention of breasts "will engorge with milk to feed the newborns and a whole mess of hormones leading to mood swings, heightened senses and occasional strange cravings." she remembered some of the horror stories her father had shared on the odd summer evening about how her mother was begging for chocolate dipped wings. "But first and foremost her belly starts to push out as her womb makes room for the fetus" April ran a hand across her belly tucking her blouse in a little tighter. "Do I look pregnant class?" she asked, turning to the side to show how skinny her waist was.

The question flowed out to the class, a few shy hands raising up she called out to one of the boys Drew piped up "Yeah a little Miss April. Don't most people not show for the first few months."

Alright definitely not the response she was hoping for, she had been forgoing her yoga classes but it was a cute bit of chub, squeezing her midsection pulling a bit of fat out she sucked in again finding it a bit more difficult to pull her belly taut, "Correct Andrew" Trying to keep the ice out of her voice. "I'm sure most of you have seen women who were pregnant but not showing right?"

Again there was was a pause and she pointed to another student in the back "Yeah I think we all have" Marcus agreed as much as he could remember a lot of ladies he knew were pregnant and trying to hide it, looking over his fellow students he was certain he could point out a girl or two who had gotten knocked up and were hiding it.

"And you kids think I look pregnant?" she asked if they had admitted to having a basis so clearly they could tell that she wasn't showing. Again several very eager hands shot up and confirmed that in their "expert" opinion she definitely could pass for pregnant. She checked and sure enough her belly was bulging out a bit perhaps a bit more than usual._ Really..uh really need to lay off the fries _she thought trying to remember if she had even eaten that much at lunch with the girls. April felt her cheeks flush at the barrage of agreement that yeah she did look like she was actually pregnant. "OK class very funny I guess I should be doubling back to discussing our metabolism and how they change with age." sure she was in her late 20s but she was fit and active it was rare for her to have even a bit of a bulge but now what once a tight toned middle was embarrassingly starting to poke out a bit, what little she could see of it she thought even her chest felt bigger not about to snap her bra but there was an odd heat all along her body that was emanating up from her pelvis circulating along her belly button before stretching up into her chest.

Coughing she stepped back suddenly terribly uncomfortable with her engorged body so close to the student body, Alright clearly these kids don't know what they're talking about the subject is fairly new after all she figured fanning herself from the sudden heat. How to get these kids to understand that while she may have put on some weight she wasn't pregnant. She could argue with some rhetoric. Why do you think I might be pregnant? Explain that while she was popular with her students she wasn't popular with the men, no need to explain that she wasn't exactly interested in men per se. She could try asking the class some more questions, the idea of today's class was to answer questions and how better than to encourage their own thinking with questions of her own. Can I be pregnant without a boyfriend and without in vitro fertilization ? Can anyone even think of a pregnancy without any kind of contact with sperm? Even further she could ask the class about themselves. They apparently had seen tons of pregnancies; she could argue that how she was and how they were weren't alike. Maybe even a visual aid might show the students that compared to real pregnant women she didn't stack up.
