the possessing machine

Mark Tatsumo is a half japanese half american guy who has just moved to the states to enter college. Mark himself is a computer genius but rather shy in social life, he has a huge crush on a dark brown girl named Sophia, who's also his classmate. He has long decided that he'll confess his true feeling to her on a good day, but that day ended terribly as he was rejected. Broken, he went home. On the road coming home, he noticed something weird on the sidewalk. It at first looked like just another random piece of paper, but looking carefully, he could see that it resembled a blueprint for a mind transferring and storing machine. Using his computer intelligence, he was quite confident that he could built it himself

But its too advance, it almost looked like if could even not exist in the first place. Is it some kind of machine in the future ?

All those confusions circle inside his head, but it also spark one of his thought from a long time ago, or rather his fetish. The machine is made up of a chair that connected by a device that looked like a head phone, with the purpose of putting the host into the state of unconsciousness and entering its mind, it connected to his own PC, which has upgraded to be able to store up to 10 different human's consciousnesses and store them as file. Finally it has another chair that can transfer a working mind to another lifeless body since its original mind has been stored digitally. If it go according to the design, it should work flawlessly. But Mark was both doubtful and afraid to test it on real human to even begin

The next day when he came back home from college, he was surprised to see the house is empty and his parents are nowhere to be seen. He tried to call them but heard only the reply from his beloved aunt Mary.

"hola handsome, remember me ?"

"how can i forget you, you are the coolest aunt in the world"

"Your parents has gone to finish some works back in Japan, theyll be there for a week. In the meantime, ill be taking care of my handsome boy"

Apperently, His parents has asked his aunt to taking care of their son for a week. Ever since he was a child, aunt Mary has always been his favourite family member. He then instructed her to sit in the chair, wearing the headphone for her and ask her to relax her brain

"This is not gonna hurt, but gonna feel kinda.... funny... and sleepy. Are you ready aunt ?"

"Im ready all day"

Mark sured that he had double check every compartments, every details and that it would work flawlessly. but he still scare, scare to lose his aunt forever should thing went wrong. But thinking about the difficulty he got through to finish this machine and the reward if it work , he cant give up now. With that, he was determined to start up the computer

"Are you sure that you want to start the transferring sequence ?" the pc shows warning

"confirm cancel"

"There s no turning back now" Mark thinks

with that he confirmed

"Do not shut down the pc until the transferring sequence is complete " the pc showed warning again

"hey...... this feel kinda funny" Aunt Mary said while giggling

"hey, im feel kinda sleepy, mighta go to sle..." she immediately fell unconsciouss

"im sorry" Mark said

"The sequence is complete" the pc showed

Mark scrolled to the data folder and see a file name Mary, access it he can see the memory file, emotion and thought file. His beloved aunt is now truly a digital file, out of her lifeless body on the chair

"i gonna borrow you for a while aunt" mark said to the screen, there of course is no reply

With that he wore the headphone device and started the transferring process to the new body, his aunt body. Those thoughts make him both nervous but also exciting. He felt funny at first and then sleepy, and his sight fell to darkness
