XCOM ~ The Enemy Fucks back!

Twenty years have passed since Unification Day. The very beginning of the ADVENT coalition when world leaders offered an unconditional surrender to the alien forces invading earth, and officially disbanded XCOM, the planet's last line of defense, was left decimated and scattered. Now the aliens rule earth, building shining cities that promise a brilliant future for humanity on the surface while concealing a sinister agenda below.

Gene Therapy Centers have sprung up as part of the aliens promise to humanity in exchange for their surrender. These alien centers has done what mankind couldn't. The common cold is no more and all but a small selection of persistent diseases are a thing of the past.

People go missing on a daily basis in the cities, but it's scattered events evenly spread out over all of Earth. Some are presumed to have joined ADVENT - the public face of the alien conquerors that is supposedly made up of human volunteers though you have yet to hear anyone who knows an ADVENT trooper personally. The average ADVENT trooper is indistinguishable from the rest of the human population, but are never seen out of uniform or their helmets. Scanners and routine checks have become a norm, walking down the street you halfway expect to be stopped for a full body scanning and questioning.

Only those who live at the edges of the world have a margin of freedom. Here, a gathers once again to stand up for humanity. Always on the run, the remnant XCOM forces must find a way to rise from the ashes, expose the insidious truth behind the occupation and eliminate the alien threat once and for all.
