Greetings!

You have been chosen to participate in an X-Change Research and Development study as a test subject under an experimental trial. The trial formulations are randomized, and while you will have some control over the group under which you will be placed, placement is mostly random and the corresponding changes cannot be fully predicted due to the experimental nature of each formulation combination.

You will be presented with a controlled number opportunities to affect your group placement, depending on the length of your trial. Consequences of these choices or to group placements cannot be held liable to X-Change Corporation. Your control will be limited to a certain number of vetoes, dependent on the length of your participation. In some cases you may gain additional vetoes, although they may come at a cost.

As the groups will be testing experimental formulations, there may be side effects, which may or may not be known at the start of the trial. Your continued status as a participant indicates your consent to this risk. Read the relevant sections for more information on the known side effects.

Note to reader: While you can control your choices, if you instead desire to have random outcomes, please use a 20-sided die or random number generator (such as random.org) to choose your next steps. For some facets, there may be the chance of gaining a side-effect rather than a facet choice; if you choose or roll this, you gain a side effect point and then return to the choice.
