When other worlds collide

The year is 2060 and things are looking bleak. Tensions among major nations rose and we're no longer hoping to deescalate problems. The red button's been pushed, we're just waiting. While most went to die with family and loved ones or began rioting and looting or are try to outrun the goddamn nuke, I opted to sit in my dark apartment and wait. Years of severe anxiety led me to retreating when tensions were high, so I'm sitting in my dark apartment reading a bunch of old comics I had planned to catch up on before I found out I, and the rest of the human race would die today. It was a good one though, my cheeks hurt from how much I was smiling while seeing the teen titans fight Brother Blood for the umpteenth time. Nothing was better at taking my mind of things (Yes, even my impending doom) than reading comics. In the little time I had left I went through my favorite run of The Runaways, Superior Spiderman--

Oh, guess I died in the middle of my thought. Well guess that's fucking tha- Wait, how am I thinking? Why do I feel warm, but not skin crispy warm? What the fuck happened?

(Disclaimer: Hewwo, I'm new and just a little guy so please be kind. This is the first time I'm posting on here or even really writing to share something with people. Hope you enjoy, hope I keep posting, and I hope people think about adding stuff to this. Also probably should explain that this story thing is supposed to be a mash-up where an oc or an established character ends up in a world that was merged with another. I think someone did something like this on here as part of a thing, maybe. Sorry if I suck at words.)
