Chloe Russell couldn't sleep. It was a big day for her, moving away from the comfort and security of sleepy suburbia. Most of her friends had already left for their respective universities the previous weekend, and now it was Chloe's turn to leave her quiet, uneventful town behind.

Weeks had gone into preparation for the "big move", endless checklists to make sure she had everything she needed for her new beginning. At least she wouldn't be alone, Chloe thought as her best friend, Megan would also be attending the same course, as well as being flat-mates. Megan was a confident girl, fun, easy to get along with, and a great friend. They had been through a lot together, and were a **** to be reckoned with. Chloe knew everything would be alright if they stuck together.

The car was finally packed, and after double checking the house for anything that might have been forgotten, she said goodbye to Diesel, she was going to miss the husky so much, finally she was ready to go.

Chloe nervously played with her wavy dirty blonde hair as she watched her house disappear into the distance as she began the journey to her new home.
