2428 Andromeda B (The Milky Way) The United Colonies Federation (UCF) fleet was in an entirely different galaxy, and they found remains of 400 year old designs for human vessels, produced by the Axis Nations Federation (ANF).

2016, Andromeda B (The Milky Way)

An ANF fleet was fleeing from United Nations Federation vessels (UNF/UCF 400 years in the past) and the ANF fleet activated their FTL drives but instead of ending up on another side of the Milky Way, they were transported to a new galaxy. Which was named Titanus B. 400 years later that remnant of the ANF formed into a new faction called the Axis Galactic Empire, which was what they were called after they conquered the galaxy. After the galaxy was conquered the AGE they faced no conflict, so their vessels became less and less militarized.

The UNF was reformatted into the new faction called the UCF (which only changed a letter in the ancronym). After this reformation, the UCF then faced 400 years worth of conflict, as they spread across the Universe. The UCF was advancing in every technological way, which made their warships stronger and stronger.
